Harry needs to go, but obviously, Mac was the problem with the show.

"Obviously" you are obsessed. The sad thing is, I am a fan of Mac... but I can guarantee you spend more time thinking about him than I do.

And that's sad. Real sad, actually.

Now that is funny. Why are you in the "afternoon section" then? Defending the lazy Mac? The new show shows why he got canned, HE'S FUCKING LAZY AND A MEDIOCRE TALENT. Go cook some Allen bros.

I'm actually not defending Mac one bit (I haven't given my opinion on the matter)... don't know where you got that idea. I just said I was a fan of his.

I was merely pointing out the irony in the reality that you sit around and worry about Mac all day. You constantly bash and attack him, and while your motives might be to harm and annoy Mac... the truth is, your actions are actually proving that you are constantly thinking about Mac, his attitude, his personality, his life, his job, his love for meats, his music selection, his family and more...

And what's funny about that, is that it qualifies as an obsession... per the definition. It's pretty sad you focus so much energy on something you claim to not like. Baffling... and sad.

I actually called in today to the show (CJH) and they put me right thru. I asked Carmen why he keeps trying to put out the fact that the Bears Defense is going to be the real question mark of the season as his own thought. He kept saying I havent heard anyone talk about this and I called him out on it. I said that I hear it all the time, and why is this crap getting played on ESPN 1000 all the time like its breaking news. We all know the Bears defense sucked last year Carmen. Instead of trying to defend his postition and his feelings, the twat hung up on me and told me to go away.(Which I will from now on) Thanks for breaking the news to us, you no talent fuck. I cant wait til Jurko gets out of his contract and Carmen can go back to doing the shows he does best(the ones that nobody fucking listens to, late at night). He might be the worst afternoon driver of a show I have ever heard.

Im not trying to blow Mac here at all, but he was the one people tuned into hear from. Not Jurko or Harry. The only reason CJH might be doing so much better than B&B is that they are the lesser of the two douchebag shows. If there was a halfway solid show on 670 at that time, people would be punching the fucking button so quick it would make Carmens eye go back straight.

Carmen's bland style + greater knowledge of the Yankees and Red Sox = ticket to Bristol.

The ten minutes I spend on a message board hardly qualifies as an obsession. Who do you think I am, Dangerous Dave?

I find it funny that Mac is still obsessed with Harry.

If the ten minutes all include seeking out every Danny Mac post and responding to it, I would say it fits the definition of an obsession.

And you really have no argument when you think about the fact you took the time to find a picture of his face, and photoshop it... you are obsessed. There is just no other way to chalk it up.

Google image search and paint. Three minutes tops.

If you aren't obsessed, what would you call it?

Whatever it is, it's sad and unhealthy.

I was on the air and off in about twenty seconds. Like I said they cut me off and hung up on me. I called back and tried to get back on trying to defend myself, but the board bitches would have none of it. Oh well.

Arrogant Prick. Carmen has always been this way. Anyone who disagrees with him knows nothing. Especially NBA or Bears or Movies or anything

He's a jag off.

Did you ever hear the story Carmen likes to tell all the fucking time. Its about Eddie Robinson that used to play with the Bulls. Carmen found out they used to call him E Robbed us. Get it. Carmen didnt even have his own show yet and I swear I heard this fucking story once a month. He adds nothing new to the show and I will be happily waiting for him to go back to the after 7pm shift.

W_Z, Carmen maybe the nicest guy in the world and other people have posted it, but if a phone call gets him a little agiateted, he can't be reacting the wrong and tell callers to go away.

Maybe Carm, wasn't ready for the afternoon shift, may have been throw into it, but he shouldn't get mad at the callers if they disagree with him, he should use that attitude with his co-hosts, mainly one, to control him and tell him no.

I don't see why Dan thinks Carmen is being him although I do think Carmen is a little more intense than he has been on other shows. And I don't see the Carmen is an arrogant prick thing either.

The few times I've met him he has had no interest in talking to me and I don't think he is a dick nor do I care that he doesn't want to talk to me. I'm a little suprised he is getting this strong of a reaction at all. He's not a very polarizing person.

he's not paired with the right people and he's in a bad situation. jurko and harry obviously don't get along, and carm's stuck in the middle. "The Afternoon Sorelosers".

I've heard this from several people. Im sure he's a great guy outside the studio. Inside the studio he's an arrogant prick. Its not hot headedness. MAC is hot headed but never hangs up or dismisses someone's opinion because he fancies himself an expert.

And even if the caller is wrong or disagrees with the host, thats usually good radio. So Carmen is not only being arrogant when he hangs up...he's making the show less interesting

Spaulding I understand thinking he's not polarizing. But to say you dont get the arrogant prick thing. What about his proclamation that he is THE NBA expert and questioning him is ludicris. It may have gotten exaggerated as a joke but originally that was what he said and meant.

Also Carmen cant control his cub hate. MAC and Hood both won me over partially by being Sox fans but being able to discuss both teams honestly.

But Carmen talks down to callers and deals in absolutes.

He's absolutely arrogant. IMO

So he's just like B&B with callers.

Funny how nobody is blindly defending Carmen..

He is like that...but B and B save it for really stupid calls. Carmen does it when anyone disagrees with him on anything.

I agree with those who find Carmen a dismissive prick. People with whom I've worked in business who act that way are generally insecure dicks. I said this about three months ago when he was bragging about something until someone finally told him to stop.

you could just listen to the W&S podcast, its like a commercial free hour of their best stuff... not a bad listen in the late afternoon if you can't stand B&B or CJH...

Maybe I am missing something with this Gloopan Kuratz guy, but that name sounds like either a painful skin disease or a relative of the Klopeks from the movie the Burbs. He is an angry person for sure.

pretty sure "gloopan kuratz" was explained by somebody that it was a derisive phrase in croatian. that's one of the reasons why people suspect that it's jurko.
