Mac, love you man; but for a guy like Mike who prides himself as being edgy, and out there, and glorifies the mafia the way he does; one who quotes 'If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying' whenever he can; you honestly think North wouldn't go along with something if he knew it wasn't legit? He might not of felt it was going to turn into what it turned into; but he certainly isn't a saint.
I know he's your friend; but I think if you said (which I believe Meatpants try to throw out there during the discussion) "I hope he didn't" you would of been right to think that. We don't want to ever believe people we know and like capable of doing something like that; but Mike hasn't always been the most honest of individual over the years.
Frontman,
Just how does North "glorify" the Mafia?
And what do you know about Norths honesty?
Here is Exhibit A.....Live on the air.....
Johnny "Quarters" Boyle......
Johnny already did time for stealing $2 million from the tollway.
Johnny was arrested in Operation Silver Shovel.....
Johnny was an operator..had fingers in a lot of pies....he also was part of a "political organization" with an epicenter at Addison and Harlem.....he also was seen a lot with some of those "politicians" at places like Gianotti's on Cumberland and Lawrence.
Johnny Boyle pleaded guilty, again, in Federal Court.
Somehow, some folks from Addison and Harlem managed to get him a job with the City of Chicago after he already had done Federal time....wonder how that happened....and he became a real All Star Defendant once more in Silver Shovel.
"Quarters" went to Taft, but somehow got a Ph.D in Public graft and corruption.
The day of the plea or the day after, your hero, Mike North, went on the air telling everybody that "Johnny Boyle is no rat"! "He ain't gonna talk to nobody 'bout nuthin"! and on and on.
I ASK YOU......WHO IN THE LISTENING AUDIENCE WAS MIKE NORTH SENDING A MESSAGE TO?
You, Big Fan, Grid, Mac, Jurko and Harry??????
Do you read John Kass, or stick to National Review?
I know Harlem and Addison isn't exactly Batavia...and you probably never dined at Franksville.....
Mike North did have some balls sending his message that day, I'll give him that....seems he certainly does "know peepul who know peepul".
Last I heard "Quarters" was at Leavenworth.......I think the camp, not the Big House.
