Good point Keyser, I see no point in this deal either. I always thought Jocketty was a good baseball man. Proximity to Dusty makes people dumber, I guess.

I was watching ESPNEWS this morning, and there was a report on MLB.com this morning in which the Blue Jays' Roy Halladay used his "No Trade" clause to block a rumored trade to the Texas Rangers. While I'm not sure who the Rangers were willing to give the Jays in return, why would Halladay want to pitch in a ballpark that's always flirting with 100 degree heat as in temperatures every summer? Besides, I can't remember the last time that franchise even contended & took the Dallas Cowboys off the front page...
