I'm surprised that someone from the score whether it be mac or whoever wouldn't purchase one of those 10 person canopies for at least the food... it's probably only $150 or $200, or they could probably rent one...

I know at Bears games they banned tents and canopies about 5 or 6 years ago. Not sure if it's allowed at "The Cell".

Well I will go to that if the tailgate is cancelled. As long as it's on, I'm in. See you there?

the tailgate is still on. Mac has said as much a few times today.

I'm not sure right now, it would take me about 2 hours and 15 minutes to get there and stand in the rain.

This shindig was BITCHIN'. I'm glad I made it. I was drenched in rain and anticipation as I made my way to Parking Lot "E", and dropped off my goodies. Mac was courteous and his wife is just...pure win. So is Kerry sayers.

Let me tell you guys...Kerry Sayers is awesome.

Spiegel is pretty cool, too.

But the spread...not bland, no sauerkraut and boiled goose...this shit was the illest.

It was the thrillest.

The game sucked, but at least it wasn't rained out.

Thanks to Hawkeye for the Glamour ponch. It went well with me.

It was a great time!! Chris...your wife makes great "chocolate chip cookie cheese cake bites". YOU TELL HER I SAID THAT!

The food was amazing! I had to come up with a gameplan to figure out what to consume in what order. The grilled asparagus...Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Great stuff! The lamb bugers....Uh huhuhuhuhu. Buzzbait Brian and his crew had some amazing tasting bluegill and crappie filets...outstanding!

I would say that is was a "Great Success!".

The best part about the whole thing was meeting Aggravated White Sox Fan Bob. He was exactly like I thought he would be, and he was AGGRAVATED by a few board members (won't name names) and certain Cub fans. He is a hoot!

Great to meet an OPV, a Kerry Sayers, a Hawkeye. Fun time, despite the weather conditions.
Big props to Bigfan for bringing the tents.

Oh, and Chris_In_Joliet's wife's chocolate chip cheesecake...delicious!

The funniest thing was that Buzzbait Brian had an old Score 820 banner that was in decent looking shape in the back of his SUV.   I wonder if it has any value. Wish I would've taken a pic of that. I've got a few that I'll post later.

Big shout out to Mac and Spiegs for an awesome time yesterday as they threw the food at ya and what a spread it was. Buzz Bait Brian out did himself with his fine wild game stew and deer meat.

Was finally great to meet Big Fan who was a riot and a guy I would of loved to party with back in my drinking days. Also finally nice to meet Chris from Joliet who was a really cool guy as well and always good to see Spmack, WZ and his crew who also had a cute little blonde with him. Nice Job WZ....

Highlights of the tailgate were Sherri Mcneil and my wife showing up with ESPN AM 1000 umbrellas at a Score sponsered event and SPmack telling Sherri Mcneil after 30 seconds in meeting her that Dan 'REALLY" out kicked his coverage with her as I thought that was awesome and funny as Sherri didn't know what to say .I replyed , "Im sure she gets that all the time".

And yes all the guys who met Kerry Sayers yesterday were smitten with her as you figured out what I have been saying for years is that not only is she attractive but she is as down to earth sports chick as you'll ever meet but she broke my heart when she told me she was glad to see the Pens beat the Red Wings in the cup this year.

And for those who have not met "Aggravated White Sox Bob" must make an effort as he's one of the funniest guys you'll ever meet and I can't wait for the day he and Stu get together to tip a few. I have a felling Bob will be defending Stu in court one day .

Great time and we should do this more often Mac !!

Thanks to one and all, especially the chefs.
Jack Daniel's and rain go hand in hand.
I sure as hell am glad I didn't have tickets for last night...there was a huge brawl in the section next to mine...cops hospitalized....my friend who was there has to go to 51st and Wentworth and give a statement....she's a witness.....that is all I need.....running around 26th Street as a witness.
I don't know how the Ligues managed to get to the Club Level.

I enjoyed the tailgate immensely and shooting the shit with all the characters......

Slapshot.....you are on for 4 seats to 10 Hawks games....Club Level...Section 222 Row 2.

Man I suck for missing this. Stupid work getting in the way of fun again.

Hopefully another one will happen before end of the year - either Sox or Bears game.

Jeff, I hope you get to Philly someday to catch an Eagles game live.
The crowd is a hoot....the town reminds me of Chicago with the rabid drooling sports fans.

Have to wonder if John Kirk's ears were burning...Spiegs was laughing with us when we talked about how Kirk basically gave him a 2 hour listen and wanted him canned.

I just found out that the brawl in the Club level was started by 4 drunks who were in the seats next to mine....copper has a broken hand....4 great Row 2 club seats in 326 may come available unless the drunks got them on Stub Hub.
A couple of the drunks are going to be charged with felonies....thank God I wasn't there.
