Yeah, that sucks. I'm almost certain I remember giving somebody a 20 to cover my bowling. Paying up front next time would fine with me.

I was pretty tanked. It very well could have been me.

(Although the ATM receipt I have indicates that I withdrew a lot of cash that day...so I'm hoping I was paid up!)

I think I know who it was and I'm not really upset about it. I was just lucky to have the extra cash on me as I didn't bring my credit card that day...

Even if you had your credit card with you it would have been of no use...the bowling alley did not take credit cards. Hence, the run to the ATM and the BIG withdrawal.

We should make sure everyone knows this for the next event, seeing as we are a card-driven society...

Well, I was coherent enough to remember that I paid the cashier myself, and I think a few other board members were in line with me, I just don't recall who - so I guess that's up to them to think maybe they were that guy (or lady)
