New George Lopez special on HBO is as bad as Chris Rock's last show and almost nearing Dane Cook territory. When did comedians stop being funny.

Absolutely brutal and unfunny.

I'm not sure when George's new TBS latenight talk show debuts, but from time to time, I've been watching his self-titled sitcom in syndicated reruns. The sitcom, which was partially executive produced by Sandra Bullock, was pretty good and I think those who worked on that show were surprised that ABC pulled the plug in 2007. If you're looking for some latenight laughs, check it out at 10:30p for a full hour weeknights on WCIU 26 "The U" and on Nick at Nite. I'm not sure when Nick at Nite airs it though, because they keep adding more modern reruns to its lineup and it can be a little hard to keep track.

He also makes weird faces and raises his eyebrows quite often.

If you folks gave me a choice between "George Lopez" and "According to Jim" starring the very, very unfunny James Belushi, George is my choice in a heartbeat!

Both shows sucked. Their mere existence got me to start reading more.
