Well good Morning, CSFMB! It's Friday, and it's time to vote for some douchebags.
Last week we had a vote that put the Chicago into CSFMB. We had a bozo who claimed that it was his goal to be nominated for, and win, a Douchebag of the week poll in order to impress some dude who has nothing whatsoever to do with our community. And, once admitted, he lost the vote. It's like someone coming over to you house for the 1st time, and betting you that you can't break down a wall with your shoulder, and you try to break down the wall but you only make a man sized hole. Now you've lost a bet, have a sore shoulder, and a douchebag sized hole in your wall.
But I do have to give the CSFMB some props for bringing out the vote. We had a record 169 votes last week. In case you're not familiar, the DOTW poll generates betweek 30-40 votes on average. Well done CSFMB and congratulations to our Week 37 winner, 670JohnScoreheadKirk. You'll be invited as a contestant on the Douchebag of the Third Quarter which is scheduled a mere 2 weeks from today! Congrats!

The Treasurer of our Homeowners Association: Tommyp1 nominated his HOA's Treasurer for borrowing $47k illegally to renovate his house. The new HOA management is simply asking for the money back, but there should probably be some type of official sanctions or possibly jail time. HOA's are notorious for being big bullies and wasteful spenders but does this Treasurer stand out from the pack? It's going to require your vote to get them moved to the semis.
More ACLU Treason: Is it possible for an important message to get lost because of the person presenting it? Is this why the Monsters in the Morning show shouldn't be responsible for getting out early morning Storm Warnings? JimmyReardon, noted rightwing poster and certified nut nominated the ACLU for what should have been considered legitimate reasons. See, the ACLU took photos of CIA agents and presented them to Gitmo prisoners as part of an investigation into CIA interrogation programs. Jimmy states the case that this should have been treated with similar outrage to the Plame incident. Anyway, if you think these guys are deserving of the DOTW title, vote today.
The Dallas Cowboys: Nominated by Ugueth Will Shiv You for putting an enormous HD screen 90 feet above the playing surface. Finally someone kicked a ball into it and they seriously had a "do-over". Jerry Jones swears he won't move the goddamn thing since the NFL approved it. This is actually causing action by the NFL rules committee for those of you who dig on typing three sets of double letters. Mississippi. Many of you will vote for the Cowboys every week regardless of why they're nominated anyway so we here at the DOTW home office believe that they have a shot at winning this week. But you gotta VOTE!
Texting for what it's done to America: Drksyd doesnt get y peeps type n txtspk. And he believes it is destroying the United States of America faster than porn and firearms and bibles. There is also a secondary consideration to this nomination, that of the jackass on the iPhone who can't turn away from it long enough to have a human converasation with someone standing right in front of them. Most of these cell phone addicts are sure to contract some horrible disease from all the High frequency radiation they're broadcasting right into their brains, but are they douchebags?
CSFMB: You really did it this time. Now Jack Bauer is upset. And when Jack Bauer is upset, people die. And he's gonna nominate all of you for being a bunch of soap opera, drama queen, cliquey fucks who have nothing better to do but cut each other down. He might be right. August was a crazy month for the CSFMB. Many short fuses and goofball rants. Much irrevelant revelancy and dimwitted boneheadery. CSFMB, is it possible that all this time you've been calling others douchebags and all along it was YOU? Well, lets see how the vote turns out.
DegenerateDave: Well, we were conflicted here at the DOTW home office over this nomination. We're not looking to start a fight of epic proportions or some aingst filled rant or anything like that. Our most popular and relevant board member was nominated by rogers park bryan for his passionate defenses of himself and his general scrappyness. In fact, since I'm a little baked I'll tell you, Dave kind of does remind me of Scappy-Doo. Lemmie at im, lemmie at im! But since Dave is just allright with me, I have to say that is a fond association, not one bourne of ill intentions. So no need to ask me what it meant in a 13 page PM, it's just a joke. Anyhow, does Dave deserve this attention, or is he just misunderstood?
There you go, this week's douchebag of the week poll. It only took me one joint and 4 cups of coffee to get thru it. Sure, it's wordy and is largly composed of content stolen from the CSFMB but then again so is Mac's column in the Sun-Times and people love that, so why not this post?
