I was thinking of this time in college that me and my black girlfriend were out on a date, and my black girlfriend and I had a really deep conversation about race relations, and how important it is for people to be accepting of all races, especially black people, and then my black girlfriend (who, it needs to be emphasized, broke up with me for reasons unrelated to the fact that she was black) asked me what my favorite T.V. show was, and I said “Cosby, of course, because it shows that it doesn’t matter what race a person is, black people can be doctors too.” I wish I was sick so I could go to a black doctor to prove how unlike Elmhurst Steve I really am. I pray that my children will marry black people so I can tell their in-laws that I am nothing at all like Elmhurst Steve, who I hate so much because he is a KKK racist, unlike me, who had a black girlfriend.

Anyway, I have been very emotional lately about how horrible racism is, and how Elmhurst Steve is about the worst person who ever lived. I hate that Elmhurst Steve is even alive, and I am nothing like him at all, because I had a black girlfriend once. I’m going to step back for a day or two, during which time I will read (again) The Autobiography of Malcolm X and watch my DVD of Roots. Maybe I will even call up my black girlfriend from college and see what she is doing these days

From now on, whenever someone posts in this thread, somewhere a small puppy will die.

They will finish 8 games in back of the Tigers and 6 games behind the Twins....since I said they would finish 3rd about 5-6 weeks ago, this is not just based on recent developments. An astute observer could easily see the flaws in that team and how they would defeat them. I also called the Peavy thing too. I said he wouldn't pitch for the Sux until September and maybe not at all this season, for the Sox. Thats looking very possible. In fact, if the Sox were smart (big if) they would shut him down now, as with or without him, they are going nowhere in 2009 anyway and if he tries to pitch and the ankle is not right, he may alter his delivery ever so slightly and over-compensate for the bad ankle and end up screwing up the elbow or shoulder. Not worth the risk.

Heck, I never predicted the Sox to make the playoffs all year. I even wanted them to concentrate on 2010 starting around the all star break.

You might as well tell us who you think will win World War 2 or how Abraham Lincoln enjoyed the play.
