Great addition to the Western genre. The dialogue is not exactly typical Western, but it was good.

To tell you the truth, this is really more like a modern cop/partner movie than a western.

Ed Harris is incredibly underrated. I have like him ever since I saw him play John Glenn in The Right Stuff.

I'll have to check this out, I know they have been playing it quite a bit on HBO.
Love a decent western.

I wanted to see it at the theatre. Then I wanted to see it on pay per view. Life got in the way on both counts. Last week, I had the home to myself and just got home with a bag of some greasy fast food. Perfecting the night, I turned on the channel just as the movie began.

I guess in a lot of ways it can also be considered a political philosophy movie.

I'm not saying he's not a good actor, but he seems to play the same roles... A Beautiful mind, the Truman Show, Apollo 13, The Rock ect... I guess he played Beethoven recently, I think I'll have to check that out...

Harris did a great job as Jackson Pollack in the movie Pollack back in 2000.
In fact I think he was nominated for an Oscar. Definitely got to show more
of his acting range in that role.

He sometimes plays the same character. That really is just selectively choosing his roles though.

How about his salesman role in Glengary Glenross, the semi retired sheriff in Needfull Things, etc.

I actually didn't like this movie that much which surprised me because I love westerns and I really like Harris and Vigo.

As far as recent westerns, I liked 3:10 to Yuma a lot more.

The movie was pretty good. Ed Harris is the man. He plays his roles on point. Vigo is also a pretty damn good actor himself
