I'm off work until after Labor Day but I will still typically still get up at my usual time out of habit. Being that it was around 6AM and having nothing to do, I turned on this Monsters show.

They were running baseball highlights from last night and JenJen's narration was about 1 minute ahead of the actual footage being shown.

What's with the huge ass extendable microphones and reading from copy all the time? Are they trying to appear as if they are doing a radio show on tv?

The interview of Tom Zbikowski was just weird and awkward. North used to have this kid on all the time on his radio show and he loves the whole working class Polish kid who went to Notre Dame thing Zbikowski brings. Just another overrated white dope in my opinion.

Where's the money coming from to keep this garbage afloat?

The huge microphones do make it appear as if Dan Jiggetts & Mike North are simulcasting the "Monsters" on radio or downloading the audio on "Pappy's" personal Web site. They're not Mike Greenberg & Mike Golic, whose "Mike & Mike in the Morning" simulcast most mornings on ESPN2HD IS ACTUALLY SIMULCAST on ESPN Radio & espnradio.com.

I turned on the show today to see Mike and Dan interviewing none other than Mike Golic. Golic spoke about his grilling techniques and different barbecue preparations. After the interview concluded, Mike North quipped that Golic seemed like a "well read guy" and Mike hoped that one day Golic might get his own radio or tv gig.
