Whatever else Spiegel may or may not be, it doesn't seem (to this listener) that he's a good buddy of Mac's from way-back à la Jurko. Mac-n-Meat do seem to have an incipient friendship incubating (based solely on listening to the show. don't know jack-squat about either dude otherwise). But does it matter for the quality of the show if that inchoate friendship ever successfully breaks through the polycarbonate shell of their professional relationship? Shouldn't matter, but maybe it dew.
