I was checking the on-screen guide on my DIRECTV, and with the return of "Sunday Night Football" on NBC Sports, you know what that means, don't you? While FOX32 is the OFFICIAL TV partner of the Chicago Bears again this season, guess what's coming back to NBC5 this Sunday night following the "Al & Cris Show"? You guessed it, fans. The return of "Sports Sunday: The Postgame Show", the biggest train wreck in recent Chicago broadcast history! You know how they did it a year ago...NBC5 would have 15 minutes of "Sports Sunday", then 15 minutes of "NBC5 News", complete with Ginger Zee's weather forecast, and then "Sports Sunday: The Postgame Show" breaking down the Bears' game, complete with the "Stuttering" John Melendez of Chicago sports talk, Bears' Hall-of-Famer and SCORE guy Dan Hampton, in a roundtable format with a different host from SportsRadio 670 & ESPN Radio 1000. It also featured a Bears' player in studio dressed as if he was more interested in being a bouncer at Crobar, and the "Ford Fan Deck" complete with fans woofing as if they were on "The Mike Ditka Show" back in the '80s. It was a train wreck in the sense that the camerawork was always out-of-focus, there were audio problems, and that a certain SCORE guy looked over Paula Faris' shoulder going to commercial break. Get ready for it...or maybe not following Sunday's Bears/Packers' game on the "Peacock"!

When does Curb Your Enthusiasm come back again, September something? I'll be looking for that and avoiding the NBC post game like the plague.

Edit- Second thought, I'll give it a chance again. Maybe they'll rehearse this a bit more.....OR NOT!!!! I'll take the bad production values and Tivo Larry and the gang.
