Dave, you could've petitioned the CW or the network carrying those shows...E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos also does an annual "Save One Show" survey on the "Watch with Kristin" page right around the time the fall schedules came out...That would've been in May.

Phil, if there's any true interest in "Heroes" left on NBC, this could be it. Despite the sightings of Hayden Panettiere & Ali Larter, there have been issues with the plot and fans have complained it's very hard to keep track. "Chuck" on NBC may have generated a cult following, but not nearly enough of a mainstream audience to stay on the air beyond this season. "Sons of Anarchy" on FX is supposed to be real good, and Mancow is supposed to guest star in an upcoming episode. Mancow's supposed to be filming his episode tomorrow. Last but not least, "Community" with "The Soup's" Joel McHale & Chevy Chase is supposed to be one of the potential rookie hits of this TV season.

Looking forward to "V" but heard they shut down for 2 weeks for rewrites which isn't a good sign.

Fast Forward looks like a cool concept for a movie but I don't know if it can sustain a series.

I think Caprica is coming out this fall too. I refused to pay $15 or whatever the movie cost so I don't know if it's good but I'll try the series.

I'll check back in with -
Chuck
Lost
Heroes
Friday Night Lights

Doc, "Fast Forward" premieres September 24th in the time slot "Ugly Betty" used to occupy on ABC, 7p. I believe "Caprica" is a prequel to "Battlestar Galactica", which NBC Universal, parent company of SyFy Channel, decided to cease production after 5 seasons. SyFy, DIRECTV 244, will be airing "Caprica", but I don't have a start date. Just like a year ago, DIRECTV's 101 Network, has new episodes of "Friday Night Lights" starting in October before NBC airs it around January or so...

I knew that would be the response. Weak excuse...Just check her out on the internets. You guys must actually like the show. I've never seen it before so I really can't give an opinion.

I do actually. The show is goofy and funny with just the right amount of female eye-candy.

You can all keep the CSIs of the world. I don't like to think very hard.

I had no intent on starting to watch the show going in but it the hotness of the female lead caught my interest and after a few episodes I found myself enjoying it. Mindless tv but well written and alot of fun. Plus the Scott Bakula and Chevy Chase guest spots last season made me happy.

After finding out Mancow is doing a guest spot on Sons of Anarchy I might need to rethink my position on giving it a chance

Chuck is a highly entertaining show and the season finale last year was awesome.

It probably will be canceled though to make room for more Jay Leno.

"The Cleveland Show" is a new FOX animated comedy that has gotten so much buzz, the network has already ordered 2 full seasons of the latest series from the folks responsible for "Family Guy" and "American Dad"...Thing is, it hasn't even premiered yet!

I'm sort of afraid of that as well -- overpromoted. Maybe we could have the Phil Simms show as a mid-season replacement?

Newper, wrong Giant... I think you meant "Brothers", the new sitcom starring the buck-toothed Michael Strahan which debuts in the next week or two on FOX...

I think you're confusing Community (Thursdays 9:30/8:30 Central on NBC) with The Jay Leno Show.

And Zach, if people didn't turn off Parks and Rec within the first 10 minutes, I doubt they'll turn off Community (Thursdays 9:30/8:30 Mountain on NBC). Joel McHale can probably carry his show better than Amy Poehler does hers.

Not even close. Although if you reside on the left side of the political spectrum and get off on lame stereotypes about the right ...then I could see how you like it.

But seriously Every character on that show sucks. The alien is ok, I guess.

Stew-Roids from last seasons Family Guy is better than any American Dad ever.

GLEE has been removed form the DVR schedule. Mrs. buryman was ok with it but she said it reminded her of a wannabe high School Musical. Looking forward to Thursday night lineup.

The "new" FOX Thursday night lineup features new seasons of "Bones" and "Fringe". Unfortunately for "Fringe", it's going head-to-head vs. "CSI:" on CBS, "30 Rock" & "Community" on NBC & "Grey's Anatomy" on ABC at 8p Thursdays. Thing is though, "Fringe" was one of the most popular rookie shows of last season, and FOX puts the latest J.J. Abrams series in quite a tough time slot...

SNL Thursday Night had it's moments last night, especially "Really? with Seth and Amy" The office was off to a good start but whatever. I enjoyed the Community a bit and was pissed that Always Sunny gave me a dose of some stupid B- cartoon porn in the middle of the season opener.
