I have listened to so many games over the years,I usually don't even pay attention to the announcers. After listening to Brian Balldinger the last few years,I thought Charles Davis doing the color on Sunday's Bear game did a fine job. He even noticed that the Bears were NOT in the prevent in the games final minute. As for Dick Stockton,he is "wheeled out" nowadays for his "name".He is not terrible but this is FOX's regional crew. Overall,I give them a B (Because of Davis)

I thought Stockton was better than Davis. Davis was terrible. The forced 300 references (which Stockton hilariously didn't get). All his phrasing is just slightly off-key. He doesn't really have much of an understanding of what's going on. I wish I could provide more specific examples, but I had a whole list of them in my head yesterday.

Stockton is just a voice. I've found a way to ignore him. Davis was actively annoying me. Two years ago B&B had an absolutely sycophantic interview with him, slobbering all over him after he called the BCS Championship game between OSU and LSU. I saw that game in a bar, so I didn't hear him then, but everything I've heard since is sub-Baldingerian.

Well, at one point Stockton thought Matt Forte was Julius Jones. Aside from that and being the master of the obvious ("a six point lead is greater than a three point lead") he did fine

Brian Baldinger was very obnoxious & irritating when he teamed up with Dick Stockton, and I'm glad FOX Sports decided in the offseason not to bring Brian back for another season. Unfortunately, you can still see Brian, Sterling Sharpe, Solomon Wilcots & this year Joe Theismann breaking down the NFL weekend matchups on "AFC/NFC Matchup" every week on NFL Network, DIRECTV 212. Charles Davis had been Thom Brennaman's analyst on the FOX-owned Big Ten Network, DIRECTV 610, in addition to being the #1 team on the network's BCS coverage. Charles is an upgrade in my opinion...

Dick Stockton's best days are definitely in the scrapbook...Dick & Hubie Brown back in the day calling NBA Basketball on CBS Sports and most recently with TNT...Classic!

That team was actually so bad, it gave me a new appreciation for the MNF booth. IB, you were right about Chucky.
