you work for a major sports radio station and you can't even use that fact to get a drink special for your 8 listeners ?
you don't have one contact at a bar on the northside that could hook up a drink special for this get together ?

But this isn't a station sponsored thing because they won't sponsor anything as of now.

And no....I don't have bar contacts. I don't spend alot of time in them like some others at the station.

all you have to do is call some bars and explain your get together and ask for a special, it takes very little effort, most places would be thrilled if you brought in 15-20 people. but i guess you aren't expecting anyone to show

Rock, a Wrigleyville bar is always better though. Wills has the Wisconsin connection, even though I have not been there in years. It was a true Wisconsin bar, modeled itself after a real tavern in the upper woods, specifically everyone got a pack of cigarettes to smoke. lol
