Have been to Sub-T for some music shows, though they seem to favor more DJs and urban/ downtempo stuff. It's an ok spot, and I assume you will be upstairs?

yeah, not the lounge/bar on the first floor...the big room upstairs. i want people hanging off of the balcony.
of all the shows, i really NEED some of you to attend. this is a big deal for us in terms of getting a good turnout and future shows since the booking agent also works for other venues in the city as well as summer festivals.

That is odd. I do recall some hardcore/ "alt"/ whatever type shows there but mostly hip hop/ dance/ neighborhood hipster is their usual demographic. It's moderate to average for drinks in that 'hood meaning you aren't paying Metro/HOB type prices but it isn't the neighborhood tap either.

i should be able to make it but it's a birthday weekend...will have to see what sis wants to do...

Sis will want to see me onstage. Then she'll want to fall madly in love with my skillz. Then she'll want me to carry her out of there like the scene from An Officer and a Gentleman. It's really a win-win.
