Too hard to choose one:

U2 - The Joshua Tree
Michael Jackson - Thriller (I can't lie I loved this when it came out)
Prince - Purple Rain
Metallica - And Justice for All
Depeche Mode -Violator

Agreed. Dark Side of the Moon is really the only album I still listen to all the way through in one sitting(driving session).

And Kid, I've always liked EWF(& agree with your opinion on their more popular stuff), but I grew up listening to it (new  ) & now it really just tends to blend into the background when I hear it.

Non-compilation albums that are listen-able track-to-track, front-to-back, are rare. The ones I can think of:

Steely Dan - Aja
Steely Dan - Gaucho (or what they released as "Gaucho")

Tears for Fears - Sowing the Seeds

Dr. Dre - The Chronic

Alman Brothers - Live at Filmore East

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue

Dave Brubeck - Time Out

Supertramp - Breakfast in America

Van Halen - 1984

The Who - Who's Next

Great to see the Sabbath love! And while I love the first album (above), it's hard to beat the Paranoid/Master of Reality/Volume 4 trilogy. I used to put those three in an old 3-disc changer and let it go for hours.

Some of my favorites are the same as some of the ones already listed:

Dirt - Alice in Chains
Black Sabbath & Masters of Reality - Black Sabbath
The Unforgettable Fire - U2 (their best, IMO)

But I've been listening to another of my all-time favorites the last couple of days:

Document - R.E.M

I love King of Birds, Oddfellows Local 151, Fireplace, & Disturbance at the Herron House.

sad to say that after looking thru my i tunes, I don't actually own Document.
I know and love the record, I listened to it on a cassette walkman player on the bus to RLHS.
Weird that I don't have it.
My vote goes to Heron House, tho.

and W_Z- don't be a pussy all your life.
