Obviously the internet is flooded with the rumors today (TO to Bears is like the 14th most popular search on Google)... but has anybody anywhere seen anything from the Bears that suggests they are interested? Seems to me it's just a bunch of hoopla based off nothing but guesswork.



As for the move itself, I bet you could get TO cheap, or maybe even for a guy like Vasher straight up. Still, it doesn't seem like a "Bears move" to trade for a bad character guy like this. But I also didn't think the Bears would make a move for Cutler, so I guess anything is possible.

If they are willing to do TO for Vasher straight up, I'd do it.

Without a 1st round pick though, its tough to give up any draft picks for 2010.

This is stemming from a report by Adam Schefler that said that the Bears would make sense for Owens. I don't believe there has been actual substance to this other than that.
