Well since the thread is "Bad Actors or Actresses in prominent roles on good shows" David Caruso's awful acting on CSI Miami can't be counted because the entire show is an hour long exercise is terrible acting, silly wardrobe and asinine, unrealistic plots.

And yet this suck fest is still somehow a ratings winner which verifies my belief that the American culture is beyond help.

i think ice t does a good job in that show. I dont dislike anyone on the whole cast actually untill the newer drunk ada. She's bad. The devil's advocate was complete shit all around

She was my nomination before I read the thread. My biggest problem with her is the strange looks she has all the time.

I find her flat chest to be a source of bitter disappointment.

I vote for Mariska Hargitay(is Law & Order SVU still any good?). Regardless of the script, her character has no depth & she plays it in an even less compelling method.

buscemi on "30 rock" is pretty bad, and oddly miscast.

W_Z, are you sure Steve Buscemi's in the cast? If there's one thing "30 Rock" has become synonymous with besides Emmy gold, Tina Fey & Alec Baldwin, it's big name guest stars and Buscemi may have been one of them...

He appeared in an episode as a private investigator hired by Alec Baldwins character during last season, SHARK.

Completely agree, W_Z. I usually like him, but he wasn't given an opportunity to even be funny in that role.

This is more inexplicable than your ridiculous Bart Starr was never any good stance. She's good. Not the best on the show, but good. I still really like the show, although I think they keep striking out and missing with who they pick for ada. Not a big fan of Cpt. Kragen either.

Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang on Smallville was terrible. Didn't miss her departure at all.

Ken Johnson as Lem on The Shield brought nothing to the role other than a whiny bitch.
