I loved this show. The wife liked Tyson's comments and I agree he was quite funny. JT or Stephen, either one winning the show and Im happy.

i'm with you chris. i like both of those guys.

tyson was right, though.

it's funny to me to see that coach is going to turn this around on sierra again too. she shouldn't be afraid at this point...screw it. she's not gonna win anything...why go back to coach? he's clearly on the outside now.

that's the worst part of it. i think he is 100% sold on himself.

i think he's full of shit, too. "we didn't do these board things in the amazon."

what, you mean the amazon.com website? yeah right i do think they have those kinda boards there actually...10% off.

Last week was better when he was talking about being beaten by savages and how he got of of his ropes and paddled the boat so fast that his hands were all bloody. That is a story I would expect out of a little kid. Not a grown ass man.

if nothing else he's at least given "survivor" some historically hilarious cuts. they may have a "best of coach" reel by the end of this thing.

Didn't it seem like Probst was baiting Coach at Tribal? I thought that was hilarious. In a long history of douches, Coach takes the cake. With that said, I thought his one-on-ones talking about Sierra were pretty genuine. I have a pretty good BS detector, and it wasn't going off during his musings about her. However, he's a complete madman, so maybe he had me fooled.

I loved Tyson's comments during the credits. Something to the effect: "I got beat by an idiot, but I'm not gonna cry about it." Good stuff.

I read something before the season started that there were a lot of backstabs this year (more than usual), so I wasn't completely surprised by what happened. Still entertaining though.

 That was great! I loved the look on Coach's face. I cannot wait to see the confrontation he has with JT now after all that warrior crap.

JT is the guy I am hoping pulls it all out.

yeah i'm with you on all these points. tyson was funny in his credits speech, and like i said, i cannot wait for his turn at the final tribal. it will be awesome.

it is funny how i actually liked him for a second when he was talking about sierra like that, in a "coach" way. and he is madman, almost on par with shane from "survivor: panama (exile island)". or randy from last year.

this finale has been one of the best i've seen, in the final moments at final tribal. i don't think i've seen the final 2 look so awkward with each other...

and the reunion show has been entertaining.

i still don't believe coach. but the guy is pretty funny even if he is a DB.

Great season, JT was the only choice that could really have been made. I liked JT alot, but man the rest of the cast was pretty stupid for never even trying to vote him out.

JT better use some of that money to fix his sister's teeth...

yeah, excellent season.

also if you caught it last night, and didn't know why probst was wearing a candy necklace with the heart at the bottom: i happened to catch this for some reason when i was at the gym on thursday morning, he was on regis & kelly and they asked that he wear that on the finale. he said he would but it looked like he was just humoring them.

the fact that he did makes probst even that much more awesome.

bump.

OK watched it tonight.

First off...the only reason I like Russell the Oil Guy is because his scheme is working. I cannot believe how stupid these cast members are...I like the cop, I like that she's on to him. I think that will be an interesting storyline.

Other than that, not a lot going on. First episode rarely shows more than 1 or 2 stand outs, and this was no different. The girls are cute for the most part...I liked Marissa, but I have a feeling she woulda been another drama queen.

Please *please* keep Ashley. I could stare at her all day long.

I liked the leader thing, too. Interesting how it'll play out...because leaders aren't chosen, truly. And you can tell by both of the "leaders" that neither one is really leading their tribe.

Good start.

I hated Russell because he thought he was too smart for his own good. I think there are too many people on his team, where his shit wont last. Also i dont think you fib about something that ruined the lives of thousands of people. Seems like a douche.
I second the Ashley motion and wouldnt mind her getting a free pass to the end.

3rd thing is Survior is THE show you need to watch in HD. Its outstanding.

I found that Russell guy to be a real scumbag but I have a feeling he is going to be
around for at least half the game before people start figuring him out. Luckily for
him he isn't the strongest or seemingly smartest so he will likely remain under the
radar for a while. Eventually he will rub people the wrong way. There were a couple
of other guys that were really cocky out of the gates which was a little surprising.
The girls were all cute for the most part. I thought that Shambo chick was pretty
funny and could be a force to be reckoned with. Pretty good start to the season.

i don't know...for some reason, his act doesn't bother me that much. again that's probably because people are eating it up like ice cream. i think he is just playing with everyone. he said in one of the confessions that he's treating this as just a game because he doesn't care about the money. he just wants to play with people.

in a way, that's what this game is all about. you can lie about whatever you want. what i'm hoping for is that his lies get so out of control that it explodes in his face...but the thing is, he probably won't care if it does because he's already rich.

Russell is a real DB, but like W_Z said, his strategy so far is working. Some of these people are just flat out stupid.

Russell has one unfair advantage that no one in the history of Survivor has possessed...he honestly and truly does not need the money. He's the only person in the history of the game who can go out with the sole goal of fucking with people for shits and giggles. Its entertaining but I don't think he should get too much credit from a strategic perspective (if it works) because of that advantage.

sad to see the hottest chick this season go...but she was fucking useless, especially when she acted like would eat anything and then choked on that shake.

i'm sure she gets her fill of protein shakes outside of the game. man up, girl.

 Yeah, the fact that she only had one gulp left and couldn't finish showed
that she just wasn't tough enough to hang. She was a looker though.

I like the other blonde better, her body is pretty much perfect. And I like the dark complexioned brunette on the other team. I think her name is Monica.

As long as Russel sticks around this season has a chance to be awesome.

And word on the street is that he's already been cast for Survivor AllStars so he must do some more damage this season.

Man that sucks, to be one of the top guys on a team that is dominating and have to be taken out for medical reasons!

The oil dude is growing on me, I think he is playing a great game among a bunch of idiots.

I saw this last night and it was pretty creepy to see him go down like that. The
second time he went down and his eyes were just glazed over was just weird.
He couldn't hear anything they were saying to him. I guess that is what 2 weeks
in those conditions can do to you if you work your ass off and don't take it easy
very often. I agree that Russell the oil guy appears to be the only one playing this
game really seriously. Should be interesting to see what happens when the tribes
merge in the next few weeks.

This season is shaping up to be pretty good. Shambo is a dark horse candidate this year to at least make the final four because there always seems to be a player that barely survives for the start and then becomes valuable in the middle as the ultimate swing vote.

It always surprises me that more people don't get seriously injured in the challenges especially with blind folds on. This was the worst one and it was more about dehydration than running into something.
