Well, it was very nice of them to hang out with you guys then. I wouldn't wish bowling with me on my worst enemy. Especially people from Balck Lodge. That's cruel.

5:21 Jay-Z "Heart of the City" - produced by Kanye West, as is a lot of Jay's beats.

Regarding bumper music, does anyone else find it odd when "The Boys Are Back in Town" or some other gem of butt-rock finds its way in? It doesn't really fit the tenor of the show. Boards of Canada tracks would make for good beds coming out of break, I feel. (Meatballs have the right to sports talk.) But seriously everything from "Turquoise Hexagon Sun" through "Pete Standing Alone" is hot electronic fire.

I did real bad today....hopefully I'll do better tomorrow. The ending song for those that don't know is The Brand New Heavies. "Have a Good Time". Jason did change it to Jay-Z "Public Service Announcement" for a bit.

i just steal the guitar parts.

so, JG...is it true? has this happenned before? are you making change for 30somethingwhitekids?

inquiring minds.

Majority of the B&B audience are racist crackers according to B&B. Goff should be trying to appeal to them. Maybe the music is another reason why the "Afternoon Saloon" always beats them. Maybe the racists don't like the music.

Screw them, Jason. I like your stuff better even though I don't know what it is. I don't know the modern "cracker music" either. I'm not much into music.

To answer your question Doug, I think Jason plays what he likes. It's just that simple. He's not trying to appeal to anybody. He doesn't give a damn if the god-awful B&B listeners like it or not. Nor should he. Screw them.

Goff always plays good beats...

Also, Beardown you need to realize that an entire generation has grown up listening to hip hop so of course they are going to discuss it no matter what ethnicity. Hip Hop is not the first type of music created mainly by American minorities that is eventually enjoyed be everyone. You have heard of things like Rock n Roll, Jazz and the Blues correct?

Please, I'm very much aware of that.

Dan Bernstein is the poster boy of what you're describing. He likes old rap music. He was the white boy from Deerfield who thought he was a gangsta because he liked rap.

Do brothers like The Doors? For that matter Zep (I know Norm did)? Beatles? The Who? "Classic Rock" in general?

I want Jason to play this under one of Terry's "Roar of the day" or "extra points" or whatever they call it now. Just the cryptic sound. Not the words. This is one of my favorites.

I don't really understand questions like this. I can only speak for myself, but I like good music. It doesn't matter who made it, if I think it's good music I'll listen.
