My "inside source" at Comcast told me a while back that other than the salaries for North and Jiggets, the network doesn't spend any money on this show, e.g. the production staff is a skeleton crew of underpaid junior level techs and interns.

No. He will get back on the radio.

He however will finally be humbled by this and he has lost any leverage he had to be a decision maker on his show.

As a personality he's still valuable. He just doesn't have the capability to be in control.

some station will get him on the cheap...and he will have little to no control. He will want to keep his name out there any way he can.

Who said he is high priced still?

He is going to take his best option in order to try and reform his career. He would provide a great value because for as bad as he was in control he still is a good sports personality.

As a contributor to a show he would be a great addition. I doubt "The Mike North Show" ever returns.

As I said before, I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up having a Giangreco-like role on a Score show.

Ego. He's high priced because of ego. It's why he left the score. I don't doubt that he'd do it all over again.

I don't think he could do a show where he was NOT the marquee guy.

No radio station in town wanted him when he was let go by the Score. Why would that change now after he's failed yet again? Plus, after getting involved with Hernandez why would any company want to bring a thing like Norh in and subject themselves North's shaddy, low life people?

At least North now has time to focus on the lawsuits.

North is pushing 60. He has no appeal to a radio station's target demo. And the "being a loud dumb ass" style of his doesn't work anymore no matter the age. Sports fans are more sophistacated and don't want to listen to people like him anymore. He never did killer ratings even at his high point. His best days weren't even in "drive time" radio.

Listened to a little of Mac. I thought the story on here would be Mac having Murph on his show. A class move by Mac! It's sad,but it might be the end of an era. Funny thing is one of the old papers I came across was a THANK YOU letter from BeBe North for getting my question answered on Mikes old TV show, (I think I won a T-Shirt). They might be doing Mike a favor. I wonder how much he was making (or losing) with this show.

I don't think he made up the 850k that the Score would have paid him for this past year in all of these failed "projects". Plus you got to take out for the checks he cut to the webio guys and the cost of the lawsuit filed against him.

Yeah,BD...one dumb move after another! My wife would have shot me by now! Walking away from the SCORE money right before Radio Pro's started getting cut all over the country was insane!
