Now, I doubt Orton will put up ratings of 10 or 0, but he will not make the pro bowl.

so this makes more sense now?

I still stand by that.

Orton's Oline > Cutler's Oline. And don't think that doesn't help things immensely.

Brutal? They weren't good but I don't think brutal is the right term here.

23/37 152 yards 0 td, 0 int, 71 rating.

That's not exactly a shocking stat line for a QB on a team that gets blown out.

This is a brutal stat line:
6/17 76 yards 0 td, 2 int, 10.5 rating

Yes, I do. Whatever the merits of the Cutler trade, remember that people were ready to give up almost the exact same amount for Anderson a year and a half ago. Thank God every day of your football-watching lives that didn't happen.

3/5 for -6 yards in the 1st quarter
8/12 for 48 yards in the 2nd quarter

Brutal. Obviously he threw more in the 2nd half when the game was already decided.

edited, got the exact stats

After Sunday's loss, Tom Jackson and Trent Dilfer both agreed that the Broncos need to find a way to stretch the defense.

What I think is funny is everyone calling McDaniels a genius. This guy only settled for Orton because it was the best Denver could pull off with making the trade.

The guy wanted Cassell who is only playing slightly better than either of my dead grandmothers would right now. And I'm talking about my grandmothers now dead 21 and 6 years not when they were young women.

And are we going to hear as much Orton love from our media if the Broncos are 0-5 for the next 5 weeks and how he is to blame? No we won't hear anything at all.

It wouldn't be the first time. Biggest example of all time is 2000 when Steve Trachsel started off 5-0 with the Rays after leaving the Cubs or something like that and we heard what a collosal mistake it was to let him go.

So your point is that Orton didn't throw much in the first quarter and when he did it resulted in negative yardage? Why didn't you just say he had a bad first quarter?

It looks like he averaged 50 yards a quarter in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. That is average my friend.

Are we sure the Broncos played yesterday? There's usually 100 articles after their games in the local papers about the media's boyfriend.
