Anyone else find it hard to believe it's been 10 years since Walter Payton died?

And quick question what other event happened in Chicago sports the same day?

Seems like its been longer. I wonder how his steroid supplier felt today. Pride, guilt, or both?

I would have said that ten years ago, your life story was one of love, deception, greed, lust... and unbridled enthusiasm. Personally, I believe that enthusiasm was what led to your downfall. You see, W_Z was but a simple country boy. You might say, a cock-eyed optimist, who got mixed up in the high stakes game of world diplomacy and international intrigue.

It seems nobody is even willing to bring that up as a possibility. I'm not saying he did, but for it to never be included in the Payton conversation is head-scratching.

The steroid thing is not brought up because nobody with an IQ above 3 thinks it's true. Only worthless slime of the earth even bring it up. A completely worthless subhuman named Joe Widenber or something like that has several videos on youtube claiming the liver disease was caused by steroid use.

And then of course we have someone revealing his own gay fantasies by saying Payton was gay. Sorry even if he was he could do much better than you.

As far as what else happened that day Don Baylor was named Cubs manager that day. I remember the association because he opened his press conference with a prayer for him. They had just come out of the press conference when they broke in on WGN with the Payton news.

Cubbiegirl, you were the nitwit who told us for years Sammy Sosa was not on steroids over on the AOL Cubs board.
Go back and watch your Snow White video.

I understand your completely out of your fucking mind. But Im gonna pretend your normal for a second and ask why Walter is above suspicion? Do you hold Tom Thayer to the same standard?

How has how you look at how athletes are in the steroid era affected how you watch sports and how you remember Puma 34?

There is evidence Sammy was on steroids. There is nothing except pure hate of some people that suggests Payton was.

It's sad how much hate people have for a person. That is pure hate.

While the decent people of Chicago mourned or were at least sad when Payton died you all danced around with joy. Disgusting.

You shouted "YES HE'S DEAD!

Did you hire a band to play a song to dance to?
No decent human being has ever accused him of being on steroids. only worthless scum of the earth.

Hey Bob why did you hate Payton so much? And what do you base this allegation on?

Absolutely nothing but a known crook who made a video on the internet.

There was a Steve Trachsel mention and I missed it? Damn, I love that guy just about as much as anyone this side of Harry Tienowitz.

I can't believe that 10 years ago there was still 8 years before this board would reach its peak.

I don't hate Payton at all......
I don't make these jocks larger than life heroes.
The guy was fabulous at his job...a lot of people in this World and on this board are.

Sports and this board are DIVERSIONS from real life.

You have real life and FANTASY need for hero worship flip flopped on your priority list.

I dont hate Payton ya fuckn pyscho.

I think his legendary strength and ridiculously long career for an NFL rb raise some questions.
No one was happy he died whether he was on steroids or not.
Your imagination is vast and dangerous
You are truly a crapstain

.

Prior to the recent positive test. There was no more proof of Sammy than Payton.

Both had ridiculously muscular bodies.

Youre a moron, and you probably would beat your husband if you had one.

Nobody in professional sports is or should be above suspicion. Whether they played for your home team or not, questions should always be asked. From Payton to Thome to anybody else. Even if you're a nice guy it doesn't mean you can't or wont do everything you possibly can to gain an edge. There's just way to much money and ego involved to think otherwise.
