Its ugly. Terribly ugly. Probably less than 30 points scored. I have band practice later, so I don't plan on watching much...which is probably a good thing. Until the Bears D and Lovie show me something positive, I cannot and will not pick them again unless they are playing the Lions or Rams. Hopefully they can turn it around, but after the last 3 games I think those who were saying 6-10 in the preseason are right on the money.

49ers- 16
Bears 13

kujoe, you're an idiot but if Cutler only gets sacked twice tonight that will be a pretty major accomplishment.

hey frank will your strumin your gutiar try to remember the bears won't have the ball much because of gore which leads to less time jay is on the field and the 49ers only have 17 team sacks all season they get to the qb and hurry him, but don't go all they way sorta like you and your right hand....

Call me crazy, but I think we 'shut down' Frank Gore tonight. Something around 18 carries for 73 yards. He'll get the TD on the goal line.

Bears D is again incompetent and the O line can't build on last week's "success".

B&B should be unlistenable on Friday and Doug will have a stroke.

I also will not be watching.

Bears: coming off of a terrible (humiliating) loss at home, with the shortest possible week, traveling two time zones west to play a young team on the road? Not to mention the injuries, poor coaching, and drama they've had the entire year? Finally, add just a hint of the Lance Briggs tampering scandal to top it all off?

No chance.

I'm thinking Bears win. All they've got to do is stack the box and bring some extra pressure. Bears 14 Niners 10.

This is a winnable game tonight, despite the quick turnaround. Mike Singletary has a bright future ahead of him as the 49ers Head Coach, but neither Alex Smith nor Shaun Hill are NFL quarterbacks and you'll see proof of that this eve. Alex gets picked off 3 times and Shaun comes in off the bench to add another interception. Jay Cutler takes advantage of short fields throughout the night. Cutler throws 3 more TD passes and Matt Forte runs one in as NFL Network's Bob Papa, Matt Millen, Marshall Faulk, Warren Sapp, Steve Mariucci & Rich Eisen witness a Bears' 31-10 road win at Candlestick Park.

Kujoe, the Browns ranked dead last in defense at the time they played the Bears, and how many sacks did they have?

The total for this game was at 43 earlier this morning. If there aren't any defensive scores (a big IF with Alex Smith and Cutler throwing a lot of INT's), I don't think either team will score more than 20 points.

So, the Browns bad offense has to do with the Browns front 4 being the worst in the league, and still getting sacks? Maybe you should start a new thread on the matter.

Frank Coztansa wrote:

Still stands and is being cemented as fact even further.

Vince Young had a nice game against that great defense last week. The 49ers lost...at home...to the 1 win Titans...and gave up 34 points.

I've got a good feeling about this game. Bears defense forces 5 turnovers. Hester catches a long TD pass and he also returns a punt for a TD.

Bears 31
49ers 13
