Its ugly. Terribly ugly. Probably less than 30 points scored. I have band practice later, so I don't plan on watching much...which is probably a good thing. Until the Bears D and Lovie show me something positive, I cannot and will not pick them again unless they are playing the Lions or Rams. Hopefully they can turn it around, but after the last 3 games I think those who were saying 6-10 in the preseason are right on the money.

This is a winnable game tonight, despite the quick turnaround. Mike Singletary has a bright future ahead of him as the 49ers Head Coach, but neither Alex Smith nor Shaun Hill are NFL quarterbacks and you'll see proof of that this eve. Alex gets picked off 3 times and Shaun comes in off the bench to add another interception. Jay Cutler takes advantage of short fields throughout the night. Cutler throws 3 more TD passes and Matt Forte runs one in as NFL Network's Bob Papa, Matt Millen, Marshall Faulk, Warren Sapp, Steve Mariucci & Rich Eisen witness a Bears' 31-10 road win at Candlestick Park.

The total for this game was at 43 earlier this morning. If there aren't any defensive scores (a big IF with Alex Smith and Cutler throwing a lot of INT's), I don't think either team will score more than 20 points.

Vince Young had a nice game against that great defense last week. The 49ers lost...at home...to the 1 win Titans...and gave up 34 points.

I've got a good feeling about this game. Bears defense forces 5 turnovers. Hester catches a long TD pass and he also returns a punt for a TD.
