Alright, all of you NBA guys as a person that lives in Milwaukee and has watched this kid be our best player. I am looking for feedback, tonight he was the best player on the floor for the Bucks(which isn't saying much  ), but please give me your thoughts and if you haven't seen him play please watch him and let me know.

i was a big doubter coming into the season but it looks like i was wrong. This guy has been clearly the best rookie in the league. He's lightning quick, can score on anyone, and does a decent job of getting teammates good looks for a rookie. He'll be a superstar when he's on the lakers or heat in 4 years

Now that is what I was not looking for(where is the emoticon for the middle finger), but this kid is good. Now my question is coming out of high school at Oak Hill he averaged 35.5 points a game, he goes overseas for a year and comes back here. Did every other G.M. miss something or did we get lucky? If you saw tonights game against the Nuggets, he was the best player on the floor. I also know, that it was one game.

Agreed on all points really. I have seen a few occasions where he's tried to make a behind the back pass or something really flashy when it wasn't really necessary...wonder how Skiles is taking that. He doesn't have that bad of an outside shot but I do wish he'd just focus on penetrating and either setting up teammates or hitting that mid-range shot. It should be interesting to see how he meshes with Redd when he comes back. So far Jennings, Lawson, Flynn and Evans have been the best rookies imo. And out of those I like Jennings the most.

I like what I've seen of him. Most night's he's the fastest guy on the floor - he just doesn't stop moving. He reminds me of a young Sam Cassell.

I had a few cocktails in me when I wrote this last night, but the kid has been impressive. I like that fact that Skiles is his coach, been there done that. He is going to have some hard times, but when you are a Bucks fan you have to grab hold of what you can.

Well, I see he just scored 55 in a win tonight. And off the top of my head, I can't remember the first time a young rookie did that

Very happy for the Bucks fans this year. They are probably the 2nd team I follow after
the Bulls. They were supposed to be god awful this year but have played well so far.
He looks to be the real deal. Can't believe he is playing that well this year when he
really didn't do that much in Europe.

see i think the so what part matters a little. They were going over the highlights on epsn and that was some of the worst defense i've ever seen. They were playing a few feet off him the entire game and literally got out of his way on some of the drives

He's the younger, left handed version of AI.

Yes, GS plays terrible defense. But everyone plays the same teams and no one else has scored 50 on them (yet). I'll concede that yes, it would have been more impressive had it been against the Celtics or Spurs, but it still is an amazing accomplishment regardless. He still had to hit those shots. He was 7-8 from the arc. Even if no one is guarding you that's still damn good. He only shot 8 FT so it wasn't like he was getting a lot of calls either, he was just hitting shots.

yeah i didn't mean to detract from an accomplishment only matched by hofers. It was a great display of shooting i was just taken aback by how abysmal the defense was, even by the warriors low standard

Yeah you know, I'm getting to the point where I think Nelson should just retire. I'm a fan. I know he's done some goofy shit but I think he really has just lost it. Apparently now he's not using Curry as much in favor of CJ Watson. Moving Monta to the 2. His lineup changes are just maddening. Like playing Morrow or Randolph like 40 minutes one night and then a DNP-CD the next game. He's either gone completely senile or is just insane. I really think he's just given up and just does whatever he feels like when he rolls out of bed that morning. Which I suppose goes along with the rest of the team

i'm guessing jennings will learn after last night contested 3's in the games to win the game aren't the best shots

Yes, I believe he will also will learn to recognize a double team and kick out for a wide open shot. But, he has been one hell of a player so far and will only get better. The bucks needed a player like him as this franchise has been like a ship without a sail.

I'm gonna give the kid a few more months before I declare him to be the next great thing. But he has been very special for the first few weeks, and if he keeps it up I think he should make the allstar team...

Not this year....very hard for rookies to make all star team, especially when they already have their Rookie-Sophomore game.

yeah he is that. I dont blame him for taking the regulation shot, i just think he pulled up shorter than he should have. He got around the screen and pulled up at the top of the key with a few seconds left when he could have brought it up to the ft line

I don't think he will make the all star team either this year, and I don't want to get to excited because it has only been 8 games. But, the kid has special qualities and I know I am going to get ripped for saying this but I believe he has a coach that will push him to be even better. His work ethic is outstanding as every home game he is there 3 hours early shooting by himself. We will see, it is early.

Once Redd gets back on the court and if he stays on the court it could be a great pairing. Jennings driving to the lane having the d collapse on him and kicking it out to Redd for a 3 - should be nice.
