So I've decided that I need to get out of the sales industry and get back into a position that I actually care about, i.e. health care.

I have probably asked this a couple times in the past, but if anyone works for a health care provider, distributor, or anything like that and can use someone with my experience and education (Master of Health Administration, 5+ years experience), PM me and I would love to send you my resume.

If it is sales, however, I don't want it.

IIRC this is at least the second (or third) job you've had since you've been on the board. So this new job you are seeking would be your 3rd or 4th different job in that time? It's certainly important to do something you love, but I suspect that one reason some people have a tough time getting jobs is because they reach a point where they have had too many in too short a time and their resume starts to smell like poison. WHen I see a resume with somebody looking for their third job in 5 years, I usually ignore it. Some managers may be willing to hire somebody who changes jobs frequently, but good luck finding them. Thus, your resume may look much better in two years than it does today for that reason, if only for more time in a position. Having said that, good luck. It's tough out there.

That sucks. I'm sorry to hear that SPM.

If it isn't too personal, can you give me your background/position info? My cousin works is the IT manager for another firm downtown - he might be looking for help.

Well, now I REALLY need a new job. Just got the ax on Friday.

As before, resume and cover letter is ready to send over to anyone who thinks they can help.

You know, I have a couple studios that I have been working for as a freelancer for the past couple of months. You ever thought about getting paid for writing?

My bad, man. I make about $200 a month doing an article every once in awhile at Demand Studios (which is also now offering health insurance). You need to submit your resume and get "hired", but after that everything is pretty solid. Demand works more with pre-determined topics for eHow and About.com while Suite101 offers the writer more flexibility.

Have you researched Walgreens' Home Care division? Might be a match for you.
