I just woke up about fifteen minutes ago, and I wrote this down (as I do with all my dreams) on a note pad by my bed as soon as the dream ended. Maybe some intrepid Joseph out there can solve this one for me.

I was driving over to Mike North's house on a Sunday to help him repair his roof. I don't know why I agreed to this or why he wanted me to help him, but that's just how it started. When I got there, I didn't see anyone outside, but there was a ladder going about halfway up the house. I climbed the ladder, and when I got to the top, a very small ladder was there built into a netting that hung around the top of the house. However, it seemed very frail; I tried pulling on it, and it stretched to the point of almost breaking.

For some reason I got really, really mad, and I found Jen Patterson and I demanded she get a larger ladder. She said she would, but five minutes later when I saw her walking buy, she was carrying Mike North's garbage out. I was extremely pissed off by now, so I went around to where the ladder is on the house and started shouting at Mike North to come down. North, Dan Jiggetts, and some woman that looked like Ms. Constable but I think was supposed to be Jiggets wife were all on the roof. We got into a heated argument, at which point several people got down from the roof. While arguing with North, a guy in a White Sox jersey that looked like Drinky and had the name "Bey" on the back punched me in my shoulder. I threatened to press charges and sue his ass back into the stone age, at which point several people tried bribing me, including Laurence Holmes, who pulled out a receipt from an ATM that said he had $2,000 in his bank account. I said I wanted four figures, and he said no way, at which point I told him quietly that I probably wasn't going to press charges, but I just wanted to scare the guy who punched me. Then I drove away.

I believe that this is a reflection, with a sports radio tint, of your career path and what you expect to gain from it.
By being a law student, you are trying to get to the top of the social eschelon (the roof) and being a flaming liberal, naturally you think that you're there to fix something.
However, traps are present on your way (the netting) and youn realized that simply going to school (the ladder) isn't enought to get you to the top. You need the help of others along the way.
Once you've reached the top, you find that it isn't nearly as glamorous as it seems. People are arguing amongst themselves. You find that maybe those up there really don't have much money afterall. And there's still that hole in the roof to fix!
Natrurally, you fall back to your lawyerly ways as an attempt to bring altercations to resolution. You also find that this doesn't really work.

Dream Interpretation:

North - He represents a person in your life that you are not sure you should trust.

The unstable ladder - Represents something that this person in your life wants you to do. A project of some sort. The ladder, much like webio, is not safe. It's not stable. You shouldn't trust this person in your life. You shouldn't trust this project that he wants you to do. Much like the webio people shouldn't have trusted North and his unstable ladder that was webio.

Jen throwing out the Garbage - It symbolizes Jen throwing out the garbage in her life - Mike North. It's telling you to do the same. Or, since she's throwing out North's garbage, it could mean that she threw out all the good influences in her life to follow Mike North. Maybe she's a sign of what not to do.

Drinky being in the dream - No idea. Maybe it means you were drinking heavily before you went to bed. Maybe it means that you have a drinking problem.

Larry being in the dream - Means that you are a racist but want to change. Larry was there to remind you that you're a racist and help you change.

You standing up to North and his people - Is you standing up to the bad influences in your life.

Last night I had a dream that I was walking to the Bears game when North and his "crew" happened to run into me. Bebe looked like Mike Myers in the coffee talk sketch. North approached me and said "Hey, your dat guy he keeps posting dat stuff on Jen's facebook pages? Why you keep doing that? Do I know you?" To which I responded, "Nothing was personal, I just presented the facts. I was one of the few supporters of yours until the Webio thing. Im pretty sure you had a hand in that cookie jar and nothing pisses me off more than people who bilk others out of money." I remember looking at Bebe laughing, which was really freaky cause she still looked like Mike Myers from coffee talk. North then grabbed me by the shirt collar, cocked back his arm and said "Looks like I gotta teach dis kid a lesson." I ducked down, grabbed each ankle and shot up to knock him back. Unfortunately, he landed back on his head and cracked his skull open. Last I saw was the newscast, then I woke up.
