You evidently want Cutler to throw to these jags!

The play before the Chambers long reception, he half-assed a deep ball, mistimed his jump, and the DB dropped an interception. You live and die by Chris Chambers. Actually, mostly, you die. But then he'll do something that makes highlights and the football stupid will clamor like seals at a chum feeding. Why do you think the Chargers just let him go?

Devin Hester is a better receiver, for starters.

Agreed. I have no interest at all in Chris Chambers. As mentioned before, Knox is a rookie, and Bennett is virtually a rookie based on playing time. Lets give these guys a year or two in the league before we say they suck.

I do agree that the Bears need to upgrade their WR's next year, but Chambers is NOT the answer.

Chambers has 55 Td receptions when all is said and done Knox and Marbles in his mouth won't have half of that!

Stat boy maybe the same reason the Eagles got rid of Cris Carter.

You asked who is currently a better receiver, not who has the better career resume.

If you put both on the market for next year and could only give each only a one year contract, Devin Hester would command significantly more money. If you could offer each multi-year contracts it would be even more skewed.

I don't have the energy to debate the football retarded all evening, so you'll just have to take my word on this one.

According to this, no, he is not better than any Bears WR:

But the mathematically illiterate throw their mashed carrots and peas around whenever stats are brought into football arguments, so I'll step down before you make a mess.

This.

That wasn't a particularly good pass from Cassel, but the WR has to make a better effort on a ball like that.
