Jay Cutler never had much of a defense to work with in Denver. He doesn't have much of one here in Chicago. Cutler also lacks a running game, NFL-quality receivers and his offensive line really sucks right now! Guess what, Bear fans? Because of the uncertain labor situation in the NFL and the fact they traded away their first & second round draft picks in the Cutler & Gaines Adams trades, help isn't necessarily on the way.

I have never been much of a Bears fan, never saw a home game in Wrigley Field when I was a shorty, Old Man liked the Cardinals and then was a huge TV fan of the wide open A.F.L., and all of my bitching, moaning and cynicism are reserved for the White Sox in this town, but I truly felt nothing but empathy for the Bears crowd last night.....these are some die hard folks...some of whom undoubtedly spend their entire entertainment budget on this team...and some are pretty amusing drunks....and the inept Bears ownership and management just uses and abuses these folks.

It is one thing to lose a game, but at least look like an N.F.L. worthy team in losing....not this nonsense that we could replicate with a football and a kegger running around Shabbona Park.
