Obviously at 7-9, no playoffs

Looks like most are out of this since the Bear Kool-Aid was flowing in pre-season. Anyone with 8 or less wins has a chance. I am on pace with my pts scored number, a little low with pts allowed. Team had no D going into the year, why most thought a winning record is a mystery to me.

bryanadamsI dunno how much KoolAid we were all drinking. A lot of 9 and 10 win predictions, with losing in either the first or 2nd game of the playoffs. Considering this team was 9-7 and barely missed the playoffs last year, and added Jay Cutler, I think many of those predictions were pretty good at the time.

I didn't see the offense being this bad and not making any improment throughout the season.

As much as I hate to admit it I think the loss of Url really hurt the defense and the coaching staff failed to adjust to that loss. I didn't expect the defense to be good but I thought they'd play tougher especially in the games they got blown out.

They aren't "eeking out" any wins which you can usually count on once or twice a season.

This team is a mess and I didn't see it coming. I still have a hard time believing it even though I know it to be true.

Nas,

In 6 games the season the Bears have allowed points on the opponents opening drive (5 TDs and 1 FG). But its the O's fault that they are playing from behind?

The 3rd down conversions and especially the 3rd and long are not the mark of a good defense. Those blow outs are inexcusable. They don't tackle well and look generally unprepared.

They are still in these games and the offense has done its share to lose some games for them too.

Not only would an average offense (Orton) have the Bears in the playoffs it would have them fighting for home field.

While I would give you the GB game and the one where he threw 5 ints I don't like this argument because there is no guarantee Orton would have kept them as in some of the games as they were. It's a different offense with him there and they'd probably be calling Forte to run it into the the back of his line men more often.

The thing I'm most dissappointed with is when they put the game in his hands and say here take the team on your shoulders he is losing. I expected him to win that SF game at the end.

Orton is having a better season in Co than he really ever had here. Maybe it's the system, maybe it's the coaching, some of it has been luck but it makes me think whatever is going on here is garbage.

Yes, Cutler has been awful at times. He is the least of the problems on offense.

And Lovie's "trust me" defense has gotten blown out, repeatedly missed tackles, given up long sustained drives, given up 3rd & longs like its nothing, not gotten takeaways, jumped offsides more times than I can count. But yeah, lets blame it *all* on the QB!

The only other person who had 7 wins also had the Bears scoring 332, while I had them at 325. How do I get my t-shirt?

Thanks
