if it means a clean and fresh set of people on all aspects of the football operations yeah it would be worth it nas...and to go on top of that you should proabally look into trading any decent assest besids cutler for draft picks.

I'd like to see them win every Sunday.
It makes the following week (of sports radio) a hell of a lot easier to deal with...

I always want to see them win no matter what. They can finish the NFL season by firing everyone and bringing in one of the proven coaches and gm's waiting to be called

Just wait to hear the sports radio when Lovie is brought back for another year.

I am usually slow to jump on the "fire the coach" bandwagon. However I do not know how you fix this mess with this regime. Jerry, Lovie and Ron all have to go. Keeping Lovie another year only puts off the inevitable and screws Jay up even more.

I would like them to lose every game the rest of the year.

im torn. i want them to beat everyone because...well im a fan of the team. and not a bitter shitty fan that roots for their demise because im pissed off at them. i always want them to win. ill still watch their games and root for them at this point.

but at the same time i dont want them to finish strong and have the coaching staff praised for finishing on a positive note and then coming back because i think the bears need an overhaul coaching wise and i would throw angelo on that boat. trading for adams when the team has GLARING holes in other positions and losing a 2nd on top of a 1st rounder is pretty bad. now they cant even get pieces in those rounds and we know they arent a team to sign big name free agents

While I'd like them to win out, I sure as hell don't think they're gonna...
Remaining games:

Stl (they positively MUST win this, although I give the Rams a shot at beating the Bears)
GB (obvious loss)
@ Balt (Loss)
Minn (Loss)
@ Detroit (win but who knows I'd also have to give the Lions a shot here)

We're looking at 6-10 with a best case scenario, and I don't think they can pull off both STL and DET. I've seen no evidence to make me think the can win again.

If this team does happen to lose out (or end the year with say 6 or less wins), its very clear that they have quit on Lovie Smith and the only option then would be to clean house as far as the coaching staff goes.

Its very clear now that the Bears are not going the playoffs (9-7 wont even get them in) so we will see what the Bears are really made of this Sunday against the Rams-- who are god awful. If the Rams march downfield on thier opening posession, have ANY lead whatsoever in the 2nd half, or god forbid win the game, you might as well fire Lovie next Monday morning. The Bears are pretty bad, but the Rams are THE worst (maybe a touch better than Cleveland) team in the league. The Bears should win by at least 2 TDs. If they don't, you know all you need to know about Lovie Smith and the "men" in that locker room.

I want them to lose every game while Jerry and Lovie are running the show. Neither of these clowns deserve another shot at an NFL gig.

Interesting facts on the Waddle and Silvy show just now.

Gruden and Shanahan had WORSE marks than Lovie Smith and were fired, and both of them have Super Bowl rings. Mike Sherman was 24-24 and was canned.

No playoffs = Fire Lovie after this season- period.

No matter what, fire Angelo. Brings Cutler in yet has no line for him. Squish! Next up is Turner: let's run up the middle every 1st down, and loose yardage. Next up is Lovie, for being D coordinator, yet can't figure out his current staff can't do effective Tampa-2 anymore.

So are you saying the trade shouldn't have been made?

The Bears have been throwing the ball almost exclusively. This doesn't even come close to describing what has been going on.

That's why they don't run it anymore. There are legitimate complaints to be had. These aren't among them.

actually my beef is how almost every pass, even when time is crucial, has been up the middle. everytime i see a good team work with little time on the clock everything is towards the sidelines. not this bears team. everything is a 5 yard pass up the middle to olsen or bennett.

Hmmm...Even if the Bears lose their remaining 5 games, starting with Sunday's game vs. the just as inept St. Louis Rams with Kyle Boller at QB for the injured, washed up Marc Bulger, it's not going to make any difference. Unless the Bears want to trade Lance Briggs, Robbie Gould and/or Devin Hester for draft picks, the Jay Cutler & Gaines Adams trades mean for the moment that the Bears don't have a draft pick until Round 3. There are questions now surfacing concerning whether or not Eugene Levy, I mean General Manager Jerry Angelo, can even draft the "best player available."

Besides, let's not forget that there is a huge labor cloud involving the NFL's overall collective bargaining agreement that will be a story to watch in 2010. The Bears might not be much of a player in the event that the NFL has an uncapped 2010 and the free agent class might be even smaller than people think. If you think help is on the way, you are sorely mistaken.

I want to see Aromadouchedoo starting every game from here on out. I want to see Williams back in his natural position. I want to see Bell get a lot more carries.

Killer V, if you are referring to Chris Williams shifting over to left tackle if Orlando Pace is a "no go" Sunday vs. the Rams, it's a start...

Greg Olsen, please run to a spot three yards short of the first down marker and stand there. You'll be tackled shortly.

I would like the Bears to win. I would like Cutler to start playing like he is supposed to play. While the play around him has been terrible, there are no positive adjectives to describe how he has played.
I want to see young guys get a shot and old guys see the pine.
I want to see Nutty Tillman punch more balls.
