Got Mac dropping rating numbers today, clean sweep on the WSCR side? Where are all my radio experts with conflicting numbers in different demographics, etc.

If that is true, then you have some great news for Mac, and the Score in general.

Conclusion: That without any extra Sox listeners, they smashed MVP in (QUE) cumulative, as well as show by show listeners. About a third of this month is unrated, so Mac and Meat will have a Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah if what you say is true. Mully and his giddy aunt will be caroling in Daley Plaza with Hanley, and Terry and Dan will still find something to complain about.

Can someone explain to me how WBBM is near the top of the ratings consistently every ratings period? I'll listen once in awhile to get a quick traffic update or whatever. But do people really listen to it for extended periods of time?

Maybe you need a quick reminder of how ratings actually work.

I've found myself turning to it for traffic and ended up listening for the rest of my hour commute, so I guess it's feasible...

Waddle has ruined that show beyond repair. He's awful, thinks he's a comedian, never has an opinion on anything for fear that he'll burn a bridge down the road, and clearly thinks he is Dan Patrick Jr.

S&W has become unlistenable unless you are trying to fall asleep.

As much as I dislike Mac and think he's an idiot, at least his show trainwreck listen worthy at times.

W&S keep me entertained since i can't really listen to the other one. They are a little espny but far from terrible. I've always liked Silvy except for when he was with Marriotti. They have/do good interviews too.

WSCR does better in the mornings finally, while WMVP does much better in late nights & weekends. WSCR does better with an older crowd, while WMVP appeals to a slightly younger crowd.

I would say that Les will grow an audience and a following again, whatever the ovenights are, I can't believe he will eventually win this one, but always heard that never mattered?
Weekends? Who has real shows on the weekends, aren't they mostly all games? And I would ESPN would have better games as they the best national TV games?
