It was nice to get out and see everyone. Bowling is a great way to get together, even though I kind of like Jimmy Pasta's idea about a broadcaster round-table. I'd be interested to see who would come out.

I had so much fun, I bowled a game today...and still couldn't break 140.

Thanks again, for inviting me.

About 27 years ago,I went to that same bowling alley with a friend who had dreams of becoming a pro bowler. (His uncle was going to sponsor him.) His dad also came with us. I beat him 3 games and bowled in the 190-210 range all 3 games. Yesterday,I bowled a 109-95-129. I also received a tool from BigFan for dropping my bowling ball while approaching the pins. I never bowl anymore, but I always think I'm good for at least one good game. Ehh,maybe next time.

I believe it's Shepkowski, isn't it?

If you guys do some type of event out south, I'd be up for it. Probably wouldn't participate (I've got a knee [/Wanny], but I'd hang out and toss back a couple brews.

In fact, Wednesday January 15th at Bourbon Street out on the southside if anyone is interested. I'll post a thread in the next week or so with details. Being a MMA fan will help, but everyone should still have a good time.

Just like the first time at Irving Park Lanes, I had an absolute blast this afternoon at Mont Clare Lanes for CSFMB's Second Bowling Event. It was also very sweet & very thoughtful that Ryno's Wife baked me a delicious chocolate & coconut cake for my Birthday, not to mention seeing Fred Huebner, along with 670 SCORE producers Nick Shifcoski (Hope I spelled your name right, Nick) and Brendan "Baldy McGrindy" McCaffrey. It was an honor & priviledge seeing you guys in person.

Also, I'm tickled by the Mounds & Almond Joys that Ryno's Wife & Redneck Mommy gave me, not to mention seeing what Aggravated White Sox Fan Bob & Original Kid Cairo look like in person. It was also good bowling with Doug from Evergreen Park, not to mention seeing Spmack, Chus, Bagels, Cubbiegirlhamus, Krazy Ivan, Crystal Lake Hoffy, T-Bone and many, many others. A big tip of the cap to JimmyPasta for that baseball book from George Castle, "Baseball and the Media", BigFan for the "T", plus he & City of Fools for putting today's bowling event together. I had a real blast today and thanks for helping me celebrate my birthday. I look forward to plenty more of these in the near future...You guys & gals rock!

Shark, you are one of these guys that I could sit down with for one hour and solve all the management problems of these goofy teams here in Hooterville...you stated all the ills of the DePaul basketball program in two minutes...especially DUMPSTATE ARENA...and having all their games NATIONAL on WGN years ago to basically nothing LOCAL now.

Thanks for the kind words, Aggravated, and great to see you in person yesterday. I'm old enough to remember when DePaul was the team when it came to basketball in Chicago, and when WGN Radio & TV carried the games. Talk about a long time ago and a galaxy far, far away. In a perfect world, DePaul would be splitting their home games between an on-campus arena & United Center, NOT Allstate Arena. They'd also be playing in the Horizon League, where they would be playing inner city rivals such as UIC & Loyola, both of whom play ON CAMPUS. The fact that they suck in the Big East is no accident, and guess what? DePaul's picked near the bottom of the conference...AGAIN!

Thanks to Frank Barone for carrying me through the first two rounds of the bowling tournament. I hope your back is feeling better today. I'll actually try to find my bowling skills before round 3 of the next bowling event.

Thanks to everyone else for coming out. It's was great seeing some old faces and meeting some new ones. The O'Malley's crew was awesome! And the Silvy autographed t-shirt fits nicely.

Jimmy Pasta looks exactly like his screen name. I knew who he was the minute I walked in the door.

Aggravated Sox Fan Bob is a laugh riot and knows his sports. I think I'm gonna buy him a beer one day and just listen to him. Meeting him was a definite highlight of the event.

SHARK was so cute when we sang "Happy Birthday". I think he was actually blushing.

Don Tiny was a laugh riot, and he shared his shrimp with me. YUM!

Rich Farmsystem, you are one BIG DUDE. How tall are you, anyway? 6' 7"?

OKC, I'm loving the new 'do. Looks great on you.

Entr0py, I'm sorry I laughed when you told me your real name. For some reason I thought it would be much more...exotic. But your real name is very nice (and easy to spell!) Anyway, glad to hear you live in Aurora. We'll be calling you next time we hang out.

Crystal Lake Pucky and RNM, glad you joined us even though you had another party to attend. I don't think it would be a CSFMB event without you.

CubbieGirlShamus is a sweetheart.

Doug-EP, enjoyed our little chat and will do everything I can to be at the PA show.

Chus, Bagels, Hack, CSFMB Guy...aromatherapy indeed!

CoF, BigFan...you guys are wonderful.

Spmack, I loved your sweater.

Shirtless Driver, you wear that green jacket with pride, my friend! You earned it!

Frank Barone, Old Man River. My bar buddies.

And finally, my condolences to the Crave Case that was demolished on the way home. May it rest in peace.

So true. Aggravated doesn't mince words either. A White Sox postgame show of Rongey and Aggravated would be awesome. No callers needed. I would tune in and I'm a Cubs fan.

the FCC would shut down that show in a new york minute. Bob would put more bleeps up in 10 seconds than Ozzie Guillen in an entire interview...
