that's bs that pope got cut, he atleast deserved a spot on special teams after all that playing time

All that playing time has much more to do with Jones and Benson being hurt. He was therefore the #2 back behind Peterson for most of the season. There is no reason they need to carry 4 RB's.

Oh, he will probably be signed to the practice squad anyway.
