Since Nas has such an interesting social life that he can no longer support the Beloved in the way we have become accustomed, I will pick up the flag.

Now, I'm nothing if not schizophrenic, so none of you will think it odd when, after writing the Pack will win the division earlier this week, pick the Bears to win today.

Bears 24 Packers 21

Odd line when it seems the Pack should wipe the floor with our boys today.

Packers hopefully start the end of the Lovie/Angelo/Phillips regime.

Pack = 34
Bears = 10

Rodgers shows what a real QB plays like. Cutler, not so much.

You're welcome FavreFan.

early fumbles by HB & QB will dig the Packers in a hole. Bears will use WR screens & HB dumps to march down the field all day. Bears in a romp:

BEARS 34 Packers 13

hester being out should doom the bears. one of their best opportunities to win this game would revolve around the touchy feely packer d backs getting flagged up and down the field and the guy to draw those flags is hester. he is the one player that scares them and not having to even think about him will put them in an even better position to win

The Bears will probably lose no matter what and I am not going to say that any one official's call matters that much in this game, but that play where Hawk ran into Bennet was pass interference. As tight as they call these games in the secondary, running into a receiver who is waiting for the ball coming to him is pass interference.

Can anyone explain to me how the Bears are only down 6 when the Packers have kicked their ass all game?

A couple of the throws by Cutler on that drive show once again the potential that exists there and why the Bears gave up so much to get him. Hopefully over the next few years we will see more of that and less of some of the crap we have seen this year.

It's really aggravating to not be able to watch a game, because I have no idea of the context of what is occurring (I have the ESPN play-by-play tracker, but that's it.) But a few comments:

Jay Cutler has thrown 20 passes and targeted Aromashodu 9 times. One of those passes was a throwaway, so there have only been 19 targets so far. I like seeing the good production out of Aromashodu, and I know they're going to pick on the CB on the other side of Woodson, but I'm a bit worried about Cutler's tendency to use big receivers as a binky.

On the plus side, the stat-tracker says that the Packers have only hit Cutler on one pass, a sack by Matthews. That makes it seem as though the O-Line is playing reasonably well.

Outside of the big rush, the Bears have held grant under four yards a carry.

No defensive end of the Bears have yet hit Rodgers. Given that OT is the glaring hole on GB, that's a sad statement about the state of the Bears DE play. This is the biggest weakness heading into next year, even bigger than offensive line.

Tommie Harris had a sack and Adams had an interception after a Brown hit.

Like I said, I'm at the mercy of what ESPN tells me in the stats thing. I haven't seen any of the game. Nominally, I guess I'm studying, but I'm not really doing that either. I did see the Harris sack, which, once again, is encouraging. He's quietly been playing quite well, which makes me even more depressed about the DEs, because he's the one that has been getting double teamed again, not them.

Just pointing that out.

The Harris sack was a coverage sack. Harris didn't do anything special.

And Lovie is going to burn another challenge and lose ANOTHER timeout.

Fire this asshole immediately.

Lovie should be fired.

You call timeout. Then you challenge and lose another time out.

You're an idiot.

Agree, Lovie should be fired just for burning 2 timeouts on one play.

Now you can't stop the clock b/c you wasted two time outs on one play that everyone knew was not going to get reversed.

I think I can hear OB's head about to explode.

Should be another alltimer post game where they start yelling at one another and are about to kill one another before they realize that they agree on whatever point they are screaming about.
