And last night, taking Boston to the wire- it took a Ray Allen 3 on the C's final possession with the shot clock at 1 for them to win it. yes a loss is a loss but the point is they are in these games until the end for the most part- competitive.

That Allen 3 was sick. He was about 3-5 feet behind the line and had to hit a fadeaway and he swished it. The Grizzlies did everything they could against him defensively and just got beat.

yes, a little more defensive pressure than was applied saturday

I feel like you got robbed on those face value tickets. Were the seats at least decent? Did you have a good time? The 2nd half was fun bad, and at least Aaron Gray made the 4th quarter laughable.

We were in the 7th row near the Celtics bench, and got to witness Brian Scalabrine's pre-game workout upclose. That was worth every penny.

yeah you know I really wanted to go to the Hawks game Saturday... but I feel like it's pretty pointless. yeah the aaron gray sightings were funny and the seats were pretty decent but still, you like to see at least a somewhat competitive game. the Hawks game will probably be over at the half.

Im going to the game against the Hawks on Saturday. I tried the "Fire Vinny" chant on Saturday, but only about 5 people chimed in with me for about 30 seconds. Maybe I'll have more luck up in the nosebleeds with the common folk. Or maybe I just need to get more drunk and be louder.

See, this is why Im pissed I dont have anyway to get the NBA package and cant watch that many games. You really like them more than Houston and OKC? Before the season I thought those two teams would be about 45 win teams and I still see that. I dont know Memphis is that good. I really like Gasol and they clearly dont suck anymore, but I dont think I see playoffs for them right now. Although it'd be a little nostalgic to see a Gasol lead Memphis from nowhere to being swept in the playoffs again.

The Grizz are a fun team with a lot of players that I like (I'm a big Gay guy), but in a short time I have become a major believer in OKC. Durant is easily a top-10 player this year and I see them making the playoffs before Memphis does.

Durant is definitely the goods, he is quickly becoming one of my favorite players.

Have to disagree there OKC. I think the other OKC is just maybe 1 year away from breaking through. I see players like Mayo and Gay ready to make that leap. I'm going all in now, fuck it. This is how I see it: as the top 8 in the West stand right now, first not considering Memphis. I would say that New Orleans WILL make it and therefore the team they would replace will be Houston. Houston has been overachieving and despite McGrady coming back I think they're going to peter out eventually. SO, that means in order for Memphis to make it in one more team has to come out. I can't quite bring myself to say the Spurs won't make it just because I think they just will...so I'm going to say Utah. I really think this can happen.

an east final 4 of atlanta, orlando, boston, cleveland might be awesome. Can atlanta possibly come out of the east?

anything's possible, i suppose.

they definitely embarrassed the Jazz tonight. i know they are not an elite team but they seriously looked shocked at what was going on. 3's were raining down, alley-oops, everything was falling. i thought it was absolutely hilarious that during the worst run, Sloan wouldn't call a time out, he just let them die out there. right now, i am serious, i would strongly consider Josh Smith for defensive POY. he totally changes the game when he's in there.

the bulls are downright painful to watch in a half court offense

the bulls already have like 3 airballs and a couple shot clock violations. They have to be in the bottom 5 halfcourt teams in the league. Im gonna have to start drinking

do the knicks ever run the ssol system anymore? Miami was vulnerable to it but they never tried to run.
