another thing to cut out, if you drink this often, is pop.

drink more water.

Oh yeah, another good recommendation.

I say drink strictly water in morning and afternoon, and if you need that pop or sweet fix, drink one of those flavored waters with your dinner.

I'm in though I have no chance of winning. I'm about camps' exact measurements: 6'2", @220. Would like to be 200-205.

I have a ton of autographed stuff laying around the basement. In keeping with the hockey theme, I'll throw in a couple autographed pucks if anybody interested. Maybe a Radim Vrbata? A Tyson Nash, anyone?

I need to get back into it. I'd join this but at my age and condition you don't really lose weight it just redistributes. Is there a spirit award or effort award I can win?

I couldn't do this. I'm 30, about 5'10", and for the last ten years I fluctuate between 175 - 185. I do however have to quit drinking pop, and turn a little fat into muscle while staying in the same weight range. Good luck to you all though.

I really need to quit smoking too. Have been since 15, half my life :x

I'm in for 30 elbows
Good luck all.

For every LB the winner drops, I'll make a $5 donation to the JDRF in his/her name.

Made the decision over the past week to switch over to Non-Alcoholic
beer for most of the challenge. Judging by what others have said about
the negative effect of alcohol on your diet, I see this as a happy medium
for me. Any suggestions on good tasting N.A. beers would be welcomed.
So far I have tried St. Pauli Girl and Buckler. The Sharps and O'Douls are
dog piss. Buckler has been the best thus far.

I've heard Clausthaler and Gerstel are the best around.

Thanks Vince. I'll keep an eye out for those. I drink a lot less NA beer than usual beer.
Maybe its mental but having a few during a game makes me think less of grabbing
a real one.

For all you participants in this, I highly recommend wii fit plus. I've only had it a few days but it's clearly more fun than most other forms of exercise and offers a lot of different variety.

Question: When I win, do I gotta drive up there to get my stick or are you going to ship it to me?

Great. I am ready for it, getting the last of some real good snacks in the next couple days!

Hit the scale this morning. Clock me in at 252.4 to start. My ultimate goal is to
reach 225 so we'll see what happens. I didn't have any sporting memorabilia that
I thought anyone would really want so I will put a $50 VISA gift card on the line to
the winner. Good luck to all involved. Now I just have to get to the health club
after work today.
