The last play will like be a Bears kneel down, my friend.

Meh, it was bound to happen. After all, Rosenfels or Jackson (apparently) would have made the same throw.

Best young receiver in the NFL right there.

Yes, it is literally unpossible to believe that the Vikings could have tied the Bears without Brett Favre.

No, not at all. It is, however quite impossible to believe that the Vikings are a 10 or 11 win team with Rosenfels or Jackson at QB for 16 games. Note, this doesn't mean I think Farve is MVP though.

Favre will finish 2nd to CJ in MVP voting.

Hunter H. has 13 tackles, 2 assists, 1 forced fumble & 1 pass defended. Very good game for him tonight.

Love taking a shot right there to win it. 99 times out of 100, Turner runs in between the tackles on 1st down. Cuter definitely looked like a guy you can build your team around tonite.

And no Farve on the 2010 Vikings = Packers division champions and maybe not even playoffs for the Vikes. Period.

He sure did. And Chris Williams looked like a pretty good starting LT. He held Jerad Allen to no sacks on the night.

There are very few things I've been more confident about since I've been posting here. There is no way in hell this is a 10 win team without Favre. He even proved the cold weather didn't matter.

His proving that coincided with the rash of injuries that rendered an already-bad Bears secondary into a junior varsity team.

But I'm sure they'll be better against Philadelphia in Philly.

The one play he slipped up was the stunt that coincided with Allen dropping into coverage. That was probably a mental thing more than a physical thing, and while it sucks, it's to be expected from a young player. But Allen was absolutely silent tonight. None of that dumbass hick wrapping up the calf shit tonight.

You've just entered the insane meatball territory. How does it feel?

Look, this team was 10-6 last year. The defense is the same. The offense is almost the same, and where it's different, it's better (Harvin, Rice stepping up). Ferrotte was 8-3 as a starter last year. Favre is 11-4.

Is this team better with Favre than Ferrotte or Rosenfels? Probably. But not by that much. MVPs don't transform their teams from four seeds into three seeds, and once again, a Favre-led team collapses down the stretch.

he played ok tonight. Not great. A few ducks were dropped by the bears. So favre added 1 or 2 wins to this team. And gus is the same caliber qb pretty much as sage. Neither of the above 2 statements can really be argued. Just admit you were wrong. It'll feel really great. Very cathartic

Oh, I should also say that I'll never be a bigger Eagles fan than I will on Sunday. This Vikings team is easily one of the most unlikeable I can remember.

Holy shit, Trent Dilfer went to a pro bowl???

Another sub 100 yard, sub-4.0 average for AP, plus the fatal fumble. Spanky?

Against the Vikings? Absolutely. I don't get into professional rivalries. I don't hate the Vikings because they're in the NFL North. I hate them because they're the biggest collection of pudwacks this side of the Score company picnic.

Every once in a while you & I agree. I'm tempted to go to the window big time on the Eagles next Sunday...
