finally they released a decent trailer for it. i saw someone's recorded footage at a convention *last summer* (2008) for it.

but i was under the impression that it was a sequel or revisioning than a remake.

I saw a preview at Avatar for yet another Robin Hood movie. Hollywood just loves retreading these movies.

The new Tron has Olivia Wilde in it...the only reason I know this is because she was EVERYWHERE on the VGAs...I don't know if I've ever been more excited to see someone in the grey/neon blue rubber suit...

Speaking of that new Robin Hood movie, I saw someone label it as Gladiator 2: The Battle for Sherwood Forest...I don't know why but that made me laugh..

Well I thought it was Gladiator 2 also. You see scenes that totally look like gladiator. The slow motion of 300. Then Russell Crowe enters the preview about 60% of the way through and I was like oh cool. A Gladiator prequel movie (based on the theme of the preview). Then "Robin Hood" flashes on the screen and I'm like WTF you can't be serious.
