I've got some DL'ing to do this weekend. Them Crooked Vultures starting to sound like it's worth a spin.

You are half right.

She sings like a dolphin during one of the songs. Its a thing.

Does anyone else here love Obituary, particularly their 1989 debut, Slowly We Rot?

So I messed up and didn't sync the ipod before I left but have gave a listen to a few of these over the last few days. The new 30 seconds to mars was really good at first listen. A Beautiful Lie wasn't bad - will listen again....Phoenix was interesting - I wasn't in the mood for that 'poppy' of music so will need to listen again - great suggestions guys.

Their new record is probably my album of the year (It's called Humbug). I was a fan before, but they have completely evolved and become much more than just a brit pop-rock band now.

I hear a lot of Motorhead in their sound. Not sure why even use the underlined descriptive.

Well, every description I used is pretty dumb, just trying to give an idea of what someone is getting into.

DEP is right, the new Silversuns record is better than anything the Pumpkins have done in 10+ years.

I also like that Japandroids album but hate name checking it because I feel like a Pitchfork douche.

you could just go back and buy the HUM records. I know that you'd prefer an astronaut.

just mentioning the "p" word is douche worthy. :P
