Remember the $800,000 in ad revenue he had booked before the show started?

Putting two and two together, I'm guessing that they're not turning on the heat or the lights at NDHS this year, since they gave all their money to Mike.

Speaking as someone who liked Mike & Dan,the fact remains not many folks are sitting in front of a TV set from 6-9 in the AM. It is much easier to listen to a radio. It is amazing, these 2 guys think a good move is from 5-7am on CBS. They think it might lead to something else??? Yeah, just ask Josea Sanders. That dude has been doing mornings forever on Ch. 7.

Ahh to be a fly on the wall when Mike North asks for advice from Josea Sanders.

Ever think it was the only move that did not require Mike to keep paying to keep himself on TV or Radio?
One day he will attain status of once a year fill in host on WSCR.

If CBS tells Rosen to cross-promote, he'll be on the Score more than once each year...

They aren't going to push cross promoting this disaster in waiting show. Mike is dead in the city, maybe infomercials will be next. This showtime is as low as you can go. 5am

I actually flipped by the show at 8:50. JUst in time to say he and Jen will no longer be working together, how he discovered her and how great Comcast is (I'm sure because they let lil Jen stay on there).

But the thing I remember most was this nugget (paraphrasing)

"And to Comcast management- You can get cheaper but you wont get anything better"

Typical North. Still in love with himself.

Actually, Comcast SportsNet will feature "SportsRise" from 5-10a weekday mornings like they did before "Monsters in the Morning" debuted about a year ago.

Maybe Mike North & Josea Sanders should team up! Josea is always smiling just like Mike!

The show really got stale, and it wasn't that good to begin with. I think the show could've been decent if they would've done some things different production wise:

1. I don't understand why they went away from taking any calls. They should've at least dedicated some time for callers and emails. That's the reason they were at least fun when they were on The Score.

2. They should've had a live audience, maybe every Friday to break up the monotony. The show seemed like the same boring thing every day. Jen Jen could have been like Jeanie Morris and gone up in the crowd and took questions. May not have been good TV, but it would have been interesting and possibly fun bad.

3. Shorten the interview with the guests. 15-20 of the boxing guy (forgot his name), c'mon! CTFR (click the fucking remote) For me, I didn't give a hoot about at least half of the guests.

4. I don't think they needed a traffic/sports highlight report every 15-20 minutes. Maybe at the top of each hour and then have it scrolling the rest of the time.

5. Bring back caning and the other silly segments. I know it was cheesy and lowbrow, but it worked.

6. Taped/canned segments in the field. So many possibilities there. FAIL.

Those are my thoughts about MITM. Can't wait for Monsters and Money or whatever it's called.

Let me guess, they ended with Sinatra singing "My Way".

These are excellent points.

Mike North should of looked into hiring someone to produce his show that has zero experience in television. :D

You can get cheaper than someone paying you for the airtime?

I was talking about the NEW failure-to-be show coming soon on CBS2.

Another new failure in the long line of North failures. :P :P

"MY Way" is an appropriate song for North, he's going down into the gutter "his way".

I hope he ends up on lower Wacker with a shopping cart.

That's pretty strong. You obviously don't believe in Karma. If you truly wish for someone to end up homeless, you must be incredibly insecure. That's pathetic.
Happy New Year!
