Tried finding a thread, as I would think a great movie like this would have one...

Good lord...thirty minutes in and I've already seen enough limbs chopped and heads blown off to last for the entire year...

That movie is fuckin crazy. Not much talking just straight violence, blood and gore. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least

Them crazy do-gooders trying to spread the good word to them village people! No thanks,I'll watch the world shit on itself from the safety of my rec room on my giant screen HDTV.I enjoyed Rambo also, but it should have been a story more in tune with our countries enemies.

Just watched this piece of cinematic excellence. Blood and gore were an understatement! I guess he knew he had a weak story so he tried to enhance it by being hyper-realistic with the gore?

I did enjoy the part where, in an obvious homage to Roadhouse, he tore out that dude's larynx.

I saw this on the Friday it came out to avoid sitting in a snowstorm for 2 hours on the way home.

Awesome flick ....other than the hispanic family that decided to attend with their children.

Julie Benz 'was' an up and comer at the time, but now she's had major roles in Dexter, Desperate Housewives and now some 'super hero' family with super powers with Michael Chiklis.

She's lookin' pretty saucy here:
