I always thought Jack Hanna did an exceptional job on Letterman. Not only bears, but all sorts of wildlife.

None of the above. This list is full of shills and/or dumb asses.

I get all of my Bears insight from this board. NFL.com, profootbaltalk.com and yahoo break all of the Bears stories.

I'll break this down. I don't pay attention to some of these people.

Hub - Dumb ass
Zach Zaidman - Shill & Dumb ass
Jeff Dickerson - Robot
Dan Hampton - Dumb ass
Mike Mulligan - Loud and, more often than not, dumb
David Haugh - Don't read him
Brad Biggs - He's OK
Dan Pompei - Dumb ass
Vaughn McClure - Don't read him
John "Moon" Mullens - Don't read him
Terrys Peeps - By Cracky
Neil Hayes - No idea who he is
Larry Mayer - Shill
Tom Thayer - Shill. He's also dumb even though everybody says he is smart
Jim Miller - Never hear him
Dan Jiggets - Hmmmmmm. Dumb.
Jerry Azumah - Please
Kip Lewis - Please
Tom Waddle - He's Ok. I don't hear his radio show but he's decent on the Final Word.
Lawrence Holmes - Dumb ass & a shill cuz he tries to be friends with Bears players. That's very important to him. It's also important to him that he makes the listeners aware that he's friends with Bears players. The players actually don't consider him a friend. It's just from his perspective. He's like Ed Farmer with this game.

Dickerson (at this time) doing better than Biggsy and Zac? What's the world coming to? Yeah I know Zac's a shill (denk you, BD), but I thought Dickerson's vote count would be comparable.

C'mon, BD, "our Jim Miller!"

I'm a huge fan of Hub Arkush. He isn't the typical Bears kiss-ass reporter like Zach & most of the others. Hub isn't afraid to criticize Bears players & Management. Hub has spent his entire life working in Chicago. He has insiders at Halas Hall & his ownership of Pro Football Weekly allows him access to every NFL team. Hub has credibility & experience.
The real question is who the hell get their Bears info from Kip Lewis & Zach?

Hub has a vendetta against the organization - he is always critical of the squad. There are some 'good' things he can say about the team but chooses not to and for that he is a douche.

Hub was a huge Bears asskisser when he worked for them. Didn't he ask the caller where did you play your ball when the guy questioned Dick Jauron?

Everyone was on Hub early in the season for raising questions on Cutler and daring to speak of the Bears numerous question marks. I seem to recall a lot of..."he's just pissed because he was let go by the Bears...etc". Well he & Hanley (who apparently is not considered a Bears expert) turned out to be the only voices of reason in that regard. On the other hand Mully - who portrays himself as an expert - was wrong on pretty much everything. Before the first snap he shouted "they don't have many question marks...they have a Pro-Bowl QB, they fixed the O-line with a future hall-of-famer, their running game is strong with Forte & the great Kevin Jones, Olson will be a pro-bowler, Tommy Harris will return to form..." ugh. :puker:

Note: I see before I could even post this the "Hub has an agenda" group is out in full force. Apparently neither he nor Steve Stone can offer any negative opinions on their former employers...even when they are correct

The issue I have with Hub & Stone is when you can't find one thing to say positive about the respective club that is holding a grudge - holding a grudge makes you opinions about the team not as valid to me.

Thats exactly right. Hub was the only reporter who tempered his enthusiasm & pointed out the weaknesses on the Bears. As it turns out, Hub was right on everything he said at the beginning of the season. Hub is a guy who does actually have peeps & guys inside the Bears organization.

I have always liked Hub & I enjoyed him when he was in the Radio booth for the beloved. His never ending defense of Dick Jauron was over the top...but since Hub & Jauron are close personal friends,
I cant blame him for supporting a buddy.

My Breakdowns

Hub - No doubt still unhappy with Beras, but has good access at some points, still nothing ever good enough for him and nobody sees more then Hub does. Never steps out.

Zach Zaidman - Big Angelo/Lovie ass licker but denies it daily. Does get some better info than anyone due to sideline reporting, too bad he doesnt tell us what is really going on with this team when he sees it.

Jeff Dickerson - Good reporter tells more than most, good or bad.

Dan Hampton - Never going to break a story but can break down some D Line play, if we had some

Mike Mulligan -Gets some good information, breaks some good stories. Good sense of the NFL overall

David Haugh - SAME
Brad Biggs - SAME

Dan Pompei - Full of himself because he has been doing this for 27 years and thinks he knows everything. No longer relevant!

Vaughn McClure- Might be better one day
John "Moon" Mullens- Fighting to remain relevant
Terrys Peeps - Nobody better, just ask them
Lawrence Holmes- Should be hosting the Bears speical interest shows o CLTV for what the wives do during the games type of shit.

Neil Hayes - Filling in and showing it.
Larry Mayer - SOLD OUT
Tom Thayer- As good as can be considering restrictions
Jim Miller - One of the very best of anyone on TV or Radio. MUST watch!
Dan Jiggets -Hmmm, well it wasnt actually that guys fault that dropped the ball
Jerry Azumah - NO
Kip Lewis - Too Smiley
Tom Waddle - Awesome potential, but scared to piss off some people

I wouldn't disagree...if that were actually true. Some fans only hear the negative. For the 1st half of last season Stone repeatedly stated that the Cubs had the best team & the best pitching in the division. Did you hear that? Or is that negative? Of course it turns out he was wrong so he could be pounded for that...but I digress.
Beyond the kicking game, what other area should Hub have been positive about with regard to the Bears? He has gone on record throughout the year saying that the Cutler trade was a good one so that's generally positive. Maybe you don't like that he is hesistant to deem Aromashadu & Knox as the next Rice & Taylor. Perhaps he will be proven wrong on that, but IMO it makes him one of the few credible "experts" on the air.

you can support a friend and still criticize him for what he deserves and hub always gives him a pass. that's not professional.
