Not gonna happen. As great a year as Frank has had this season, I don't think we're seeing a career rejuvenation here. No one expected him to be this good and I don't expect him to be this good next year.

Frank's on borrowed time; I'm glad he's having the season he's having because he has and always will be my favorite player....but I think this season's going to be the exception and not the rule with him.

I agree the He is on borrowed time. The foot problems could recur at any time. I don't see a big difference between Thome and Frank. Besides, depending on how he continues this month and into the playoffs, his price is going to skyrocket, barring injury.

nobody really wanted to see frank go, but he simply would have balked at the idea of kenny offereing him a 500K contract with incentives like the A's did. it was a business move that had to be made.

im much more pissed off at mackowiak and the sox pen than i am at big frank this weekend.
