Who cares where she is as long as she's not on the air much. Limiting the time she is on the air is one of the best decisions they have made in a long time.

Did anyone notice the introductions this morning ? The big voice guy included Matt Abatacolla's name as if he was a regular voice on the show.

She's in the studio, but I think she only gets air time once an hour for news/traffic (it could be twice)...

Either way, we have an early who your crappin for anyone on that show talking about overpaid players when they have somebody making over $100,000 reading scripts that take about 2 minutes per hour. I guess if she can get it, good for her...

Another positive aspect to the apparent change in the MNMS structure is that Pappy no longer injects his own commentary into Annie's news reads. It seems like a conscious decision by management to force him to stick to sports without veering off on his ridiculous, ill-informed political rants.

I do find it odd, though, that North hasn't had anything to say about the elephant in the room (the re-structuring). I sense that Annie is PO'd about it since she never chimes in with anything anymore - while Jen & Rock still do. I'm also curious to see if Fred & Drinky will be allowed to participate in the interviews now that they seem to have a bigger role in general discussions. All in all, it's a good and much needed change.

Almost makes you think someone in a position of power there has been listening to us. Annie starts talking more, we rip on her lack of sports knowledge, now she's talking less. We call Fred a spineless idiot who won't stand up to Mike, now Matt is on and might actually offer a contrary opinion. We ridicule Mike's political babbling and say he should stick to sports, now it seems he's interrupting the news less with his right-wing ranting. Hmmm . . .

It took awhile to realize that listeners want sports talk on a sports station, not political thoughts and a woman who has no idea what she' talking about...Those hosts/producers/management are pretty damn smart, huh ?

CC, I dont think Drinky owes any explanation, it's Mike that does. It was his idea to bring Annie in and try and do an all topic show. Mike now barely says Annies name, and has yet to explain what Matt is doing and why Fred can barely be heard. I think the cut back of Annie and Fred is good, but Mike is such a pompus ass that he refuses to admit that their were problems with the show and he holds such contmept for the audience and thinks his audience is so dumb that wont notice the difference.Hasn't Mike always molded himself as a straight shooter. Plus Mike working the bully pulpit, questioning Matt's sports knowledege because he is a Cub fan will piss off many listners.Even though i always thought Mike was a Cub fan. And he needs to stop holding BB opinions against Matt.
