"Her many responsibilities include coordinating guest bookings for CSN's locally-produced programs, along with feature segment producing and some on-air appearances."

She deserves kudos for finally having the smarts to abandon the Mike North Traveling Circus and get away from that career-killer North before it's too late. At least she's basically now doing the same things for Comcast that she could have done had she stayed at the Score. In other words, at least North didn't drown her; she was kind of treading water, career-wise, during that time.

I was thinking about Comcast's press release and it made me laugh. How many press releases are issued for the hiring of a producer? Nobody every knew who that last booker and video editor was for Comcast. Nobody cared. I've never heard of such a thing. Score doesn't issue press releases when they hire producers. Papers don't cover it. Jen even got quoted. The quote itself is funny cuz she acts like this is a big deal. I'm not blaming her. Don't get me wrong. Comcast asked her to give a quote and she did. Very proffesional I might add. She sounds important in print. But I just found it funny. That's all.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue to build a strong relationship with Comcast SportsNet,” added Patterson. “I'm looking forward to contributing to the success of a great network.”

Awww shit. This reminds me of me annoying my parents when I was a kid. I should have kept ignoring it. I will now.

She created the "press release" and simply got an ok from her bosses to send it out. She learned at the knee of Mike and Be Be to send out a press release for everything.

I think this shows that north has NO say in the new disaster-in-waiting show. He has no control and this should prove interesting. We will see how long it takes him to start bitching about things. Bet the show is VERY short run.

Please define what a "VERY short run" is.

I would like to take you up on your bet.

What's next, a Comcast press release announcing a change in copy machine repairmen?

"comcast sports network is proud to announce that we have hired a new custodial engineer, Carl, to clean our facilities. Carl has been in the custodial arts for over 8 years and brings great enthusiasm to the job. "

Should I re-phrase it? North's part will not last 6 months.

Comcast has a pretty bad track record for keeping "talent". And if she's such an "up and comer" why isnt she going to be put in an important role?

And lastly- she's a couple a twinkies away from being to chubby for TV anyway.

Uh, that was last week. There was a seven page thread here dedicated to it. How did you miss it?
