Will get to the "Ask Mac" questions about my relationship with Terry tomorrow morning. I'm going to do this in a separate thread as it will take up ample space. It also will address the questions about the absence of flight miles for Jason and Matty. And I will get to the other questions in a generic "A.M." thread. Thanks.

This should be good - Mac will be without nicotine for a few hours and should have some venom ready to release.

I think you will be disappointed if you are wanting venom. But I am interested in hearing this too.

This isn't something new. He was always pretty candid in the Ask Mac threads from the MJH section.

I'm curious as to hear this too. I have a feeling its just a case of Terry become just to damn old and crotchety for his own damn good.

I'm much more interested in the Matt/Jason explanation than the defense of Boers.

Why do people think that B&Bs producers should automatically get any airtime that is open? If B&B want to let them do it fine if Rosen wants to give them a show fine but I don't get this hey somebody on X show is not going to be there today Goff/drinky should fill in. This is not the case for any other show.

IMO it is because they have done it in the past and it was some pretty good radio. Goff and/or Drinky are better than just about ever fill in the score has except for maybe Rosie.

Its not that Spaulding.

Its just that prior to Drew Hayes coming back to the scene, and when Rosen had more pull, the B&B producers would almost always guest host if Boers or Bernstein were out that day.

Neither of them are phenoms (like OPV). They are okay, I liked drinky better a few years ago on Saturdays but they aren't entitled or deserving of every open shift on every show. I don't understand why people think they are. That's my point.

Spaulding, Well I'm not so much for them using Goff and Drinky at every possible opportunity, but I don't like how they bring in these sportswriters (who at one time hated everything about sports talk radio) when they have a lot of guys on their proverbial bench that are more than capable as hosts for a day or two.

I don't hate B&B. I listen to them about the same as CJH.

Why isn't anybody asking for Jay Zawaski or Rock?

I think they have a regular thing sat nights, but i dont care for it anyway. Goff is the only one that could be a regular host. Drinky is bad.

Not necessarily "automatically", but I think they should get more as well. B&B's (and before that, the Heavy Fuel Crew's) producers always played a larger on air/creative role in the shows than elsewhere. They've always been solid radio professionals IMO & the Score used to seem like a place where that grunt work meant a fair(even extra) chance at on air work.

Life isn't fair, but I'd prefer either of them(even Drinky) to Bruce Wolf or some of the other fill-ins.

IMO Rock has actually gotten much better on air. I'd give him first shot after Goff or Paruch.

It's always oh mac is going to be gone goff/drinky should fill in. goff/drinky, goff/drinky, goff/drinky. Why? They have nothing to do with that show. Who have they brought in besides rosenbloom? - who some of you have said you liked.

I've heard Rozner a couple times. The other 2 not as much. Do they use them a lot? I feel like I hear or have heard goff and drinky a lot. Maybe they are done with that. I want to hear you guys ask for rock next time.

I was asking for newspaper people. Hamp doesn't seem like he has that background, maybe I missed it.

As far as I know it has been quite awhile since Goff or Drinky filled in for any day time show.
