Since the wisdom of this board is so vast.
What is VDN not doing to aid in the development of D.Rose?
If the Bulls do sign a big name free agent won't he expect to be the man?
I have not seen any improvement to see Rose being a top 5 point guard in the league.
Thanks for your help.

Did anyone every think Noah would turn into this?? If he does wouldn't it be because VDN developed him??????

I have seen limited games this year due to geography and shitty cable service. I'll attempt though....

1.) Vinny's biggest faults come off of terrible inbounds and coming-off-timeouts play calls. The Bulls offense doesn't look any different. That's a huge problem. For comparison - look at San Antonio coming out of timeouts and inbounding the ball in the opponents end of the court. If you dont see a drastic difference, no offense, but dont ever try talking about basketball again. The game has clearly passed you by. Also Rose has not improved whatsoever defensively. Doc Rivers is not a good coach(although he has the best defensive assistant in the NBA IMO.) Still, look at the dramatic increase of Rondo defensively from Rookie year to now. It's obvious. Thats the kind you see.

2.) It depends what FA. If we get Bosh or Joe Johnson, then yes. Cool Joe is the leader of a team that will certainly have home court in the playoffs and wont be an easy out. Bosh will compliment Noah perfectly on both sides of the ball. Either will expect to be the man, along with Rose. It'll be Batman and Robin, it really doesn't matter who takes over either role.

If Amare comes here, the idiot fans will think he's the savior. The smart fans will know we are fucked for 5 years minimum. He will command a near max salary, and has demonstrated multiple times he doesnt deserve one. I would much, much rather us do nothing in FA than sign him.

3.) Rose might not be a top 5 PG right now, but he's on the brink. It sounds like you're one of those meatballs than doesn't watch the games or follow the news, and just looks at box scores. The last two-three weeks he has played like a top 5 PG. He had an ankle injury the first few weeks of the game, and to a PG that thrives on the transition game, that's obviously debilitating. He looked a step slow, indecisive, etc. Now he looks ready to lead an obviously flawed offense. He'll finish the year with no doubt in anybody's mind(except yours) that given another piece he will take this team to the next level

You are silly. Stop holding onto this false argument from a few weeks ago. He clearly demonstrates he's willing to take over a game if need be. He still needs work, but he's in his second year. You're biggest problem is you look at him like Kobe. HE'S NOT A SG!!!!!!!!!! Whenever he facilitates at the end of games, you call him scared. You(no longer) say the same things about Chris Paul. Rose is developing perfectly(offensively) despite the worst coach in the league.

D Rose has made huge strides in becoming a top 5 pg. He has really developed that outside shot to the point that he hits it with pretty good consistency which has opened up easier lanes to the basket. he is constantly driving and he usually finds a way to score even if it looks like he shouldnt. plus the kid is only 20 years old. he hasnt peaked yet. give him a couple years to really find his identity. i dont understand how anyone that has watched him in the last 2-3 weeks since getting over that ankle injury cant see how impressive he is and can be

At every level Rose would rather defer than takeover a game. That part of his game hasn't changed. Last year it was Gordon and most of this season it has been Salmons.

Please don't EVER compare Rose to Kobe. I also never say the same thing about CP3. I just wanted him to play at the same level for a longer period of time before calling him the best.

I dont know what Rose you are watching. The one I see has no problem being assertive offensively, and is developing fine offensively. His defense is the only thing that hasnt improved a bit.

rose is the shit and is a 4th quarter, big time player. he is the kinda guy that has 4 or 5 extra gears when it really matters. nobody can guard him when he is on. nobody.

Based on what I've seen, Derrick Rose seems to have become more aggressive and appears to be driving the basketball inside better, in spite of what head coach Vinny Del Negro isn't doing. I wish #1 was getting to the free throw line more...

Fuck whatever bullshit play Vinny draws up. The fact is he isn't comfortable being that type of player.

nahhh ur full shit. rose is doing whatever he can. if you notice, as soon as deng or salmons or thomas gets a whiff of that ball on offense you can forget about derrik ever getting it back until next possession.

Yes he is, and it is obvious.

when kobe spoke into his ear that last game at the end, you know he told derrik "kill em all, dont listen to anybody". even though he told the media that he said "derrik just wont be that type of player, he just needs to be who he is".
