Quick SHARK, who does he look like?

Probably a better choice than Martz. But he'll only be here for a year unless the Bears go deep into the playoffs.

I pray that it's to be the O-line coach. Anything else would be terrible.

If Mike Tice is our O Coordinator next year I may join FavreFan with the Pack.

You could do worse than Mike Tice. You could do better too but for a team that's going to be getting young on the O-line you could do worse.

Why do you hate Harbaugh? I mean I could understand it if you went to Ohio State or something. But he is gonna win some games in the NFL. Last weeks issue of The Sporting News has a good article about college football coaches who are primed for the NFL & they have Harbaugh at #1 as a lock to jump to the NFL, & to also be successful. He is one of the most respected young coaches in college & the NFL right now.
The Bears should be talking to him right now about next year...unless he wants the Michigan job.

Tice is a tight ends/AHC. A positional coaching position would be lateral, so it'd have to be for OC.

Perhaps it is like the Rooney rule where you have to interview a meathead

I keep hearing this sound byte from Tom Thayer about Tice and he says that he could do the job and one of reasons why is "he knows the positions"

What? I would sure hope so. If we are considering someone to be OC that does not know the positions. . .

I have no problem at all with him being the Oline coach, but I want him no where near the OC.

Bernstein just pointed out how strange it is that they have hired an O-Line coach before they have their Coordinator in place. I agree...

Clearly Tice is so good that it does not matter who the OC is, he will excel.
